There wasn't even a subtle hint of the shambles that would become France's campaign at this world cup. This only occurs every 4 years, and France's implosion simply shows us how much can change in 4 years. Look back at 2006: France, unified, committed, positive and in form. This current tournament has been the complete opposite. Another world cup passes by, another generation of players pass by trophy less. At least Henry won it in '98.
