Krul is becoming better goalkeeper with each game! If he continues to grow like this, he has potential to become world class goalie! I like this Newcastle team, no big stars but well composed squad. Ba and Best are good attacking duo in my opinion. Amazing run by Gutierrez!
super krul and he's cool

Newcastle probably have the best squad in the league outside of the big clubs.

That being said, if it weren't for the poor refereeing, Wolves would have, should have, won this.

plain and simple, mick mcarthy is the man. doesn't mince words. doesn't blame anyone else but himself. top class manager.

OK. So Newcastle were lucky to get the 3 points in the end. Definite penalty for Wolves and the disallowed goal was 50:50. If the ball was out (and I'm not convinced), then I can't see how the linesman could have seen it.

But let's not say that Newcastle's win was all down to luck.

We defended brilliantly at times. Luck doesn't make blocks or saves. Luck doesn't put strikers under pressure forcing misses.

Also, we sat back in the 2nd half on our 2 goal lead, which was a mistake. A 2 goal lead, I must add, that came about from some dominant passing and movement in midfield.

Don't forget Newcastle had 2 or 3 GREAT chances to score more goals as well.

Give Newcastle United some credit guys. A great start to the season.

Unlucky Wolves though, they came back well from 2-0 down.

i love alan shearer, even though he has so much history with newcastle he isnt bias and accepts that it was lucky. sickest kent
Feels great to be unbeaten and in the top four :D We were lucky admittedly as it definitely was a penalty. However, we would of still had the goal advantage and that it was out late on. So I think one was called right and the other wrong..nevertheless we were lucky. What a goal Jonas! HWTL!
I can't even express my hapiness with Tim Krul...

Demba Ba !!
It was a win for Newcastle, great 2nd goal, great skill on ball and skill for them, and then Wolves had so many great chances to score, feel bad for them, but whatever, was close, and then the one goal to make it within one at end, and then the really close call, it was close to being out but I don't know, I think they should have counted it as goal anyways, tough call, cause the camera angle from the one angle will always show it look past where it is, it has to be the on above or whatever, that was too bad for Wolves!
wolves are unlucky
ba is a scoring machine for newcastle just like andy caroll last season
Liverpool will probably get ahead of themselves and cough up another 35 mil at this rate.
wooo guttierez with a classic epl goal. that's what i love to see!
it would of been a penalty 2 wolves =S
The way Krul was playing, who knows if the penalty would've been converted!
Wolves were very unlucky in the game. But its great to see Newcastle back up near the the top.
