This was the sort of game where the defence really shined, you could just see players hurtling at strikers to deny them shots.

Not a great result for either team - Wigan are now bottom and have 12(?) games left to get out of the scrapheap, and Aston Villa, with only Agbonlahor as the last recognised striker, are in trouble.

0-0 games obviously not the most excited, but both teams didn't finish i guess, they could have chances but I guess a point is good for each but Aston Villa are better team and could have easily won, but good for Wigan.
