Luis 28 goals this season, what a striker Liverpool has, I mean for a team with a striker with 21 league goals with 10 matches to go, you would expect Liverpool would be higher up, so whats the problem? I mean it cant be goals, they've got the best striker in the league so what is the problem Liverpool? Inconsistency, thats the problem

It's kind of weird, we scored the 3rd most goals, have 2nd most clean sheet behind Man City, but still nowhere near top. Just tells you can never rely on stats in football.

I see a lot of people here writing how Wigan don't deserve to be in the Prem. What about QPR who have spent so much money and play like sh!t!...Wigan don't have the funds but every year Martinez remains positive and does the best he can do for the club, brought some good players in Valencia went to Man Utd, Moses to Chelsea and they have also lost Rodalegga, N'Zogbia and probably will lose Di Santo too next summer. If he had more money trust me Wigan would not be fighting relegation every year.

Great point! The fact that Wigan are in the spot they are in now is astonishing in my book. Give that club even just 15-20mil in transfer room, and Martinez could probably manage even better with the club.

Wigan were totally outplayed, Man rodgers has hit the jackpot by getting Sturridge and Coutinho, Good buys. Brought out the best of Downing even though in Summer he will probably get rid of him I think along with Carroll but Henderson is still young. I Don't think Suarez will leave, he will stay atleast one more season and if Liverpool get a CL spot next season then he will stay I reckon. Liverpool could still realistically get a CL spot this season if they just concentrate and keep winning. I'm starting to enjoy their matches again since the new buys.

yeah its much harder to hit it through a pair of legs than to get half the goal open. low and wide is how keepers are taught if it goes through your legs thats just unlucky
