Game was kind of painful to watch. Started off flying, then started playing horribly. A win's a win, but the boys didn't really deserve it in my opinion. Was super impressed with Cleverly's play, though. Can't wait to see how he does this season.

So it's the first game of the season. We're unbeaten all the way through preseason - in fact we've won every game, including Barcelona and City. The youngsters pull through this game showing real grit and determination to keep going and never give up after some gorgeous passing play in the first half and yet people still have a go at United.
Fair enough, wasn't the best game they've ever played but what do you expect from the kids? To be perfect first game of the season like Chelsea almost were last season then flopped? They've started well and have room to improve - that's no bad thing - stops complacency!
Oh and De Gea is only 20. What were most of you doing at 20? I'm 20 and I'm at Uni. That has pressures of its own, granted. But I'd imagine the history of a club like United and the massive fan base weighing down on you is just off the scale. Give him a break! I applaud Fergie for giving him a chance. Like he said - name one keeper that has never made any mistakes. Van der Sar and Schmeichel made plenty.
Calm down and watch a master-class in man-management by Fergie take place.
