The reason why AVB failed to succeed @ chelsea was because he was managing a team where half the players are his mates.. he's 34 and the youngest coach chelsea has ever had and some players his age still play so maybe the team didn't really take him seriously in the training ground or he didn't have the commanding power needed of a leader, yes he coached porto and won euro cup but the average age of porto at the time was 25 but he's still young and he has a long way to go and a mentor(Mourinho) to learn from but he should settle with a good young team and be patient and win 3-4 trophies before taking up a job in a world class club but atm he can't coach superior teams like Chelsea or AC Milan. I hope he can go back to porto cos they're not really playing well this season. If he was still at Porto i have no doubt they would've still been in the CL

And its funny how the sacked coach from Liverpool(Hodgson) was responsible for the AVB getting the sack lol and he's replaced temporarily by the sacked coach from West Brom( Di Mateo)

Of course it's the coach that gets blamed for all this, thing is players like recently acquired Meiriles (selfish 0 creativity) and the has no clue how to defend Bosingwa have been a blight on the team.

Sadly, saw it coming when the spot for CL was in doubt.

Bit surprised its official, im bit sad, but disappointed with chelsea this season, really think its more the players fault then AVB but I hope rest of season will be good.
