First bad game I've seen Fabregas have in a very long while.
;(((
The ref saved you a point here, clear penalty. Shame
very fair result from villarreal but barcelona could of had maybe 2 or 3 chances to covert a goal
woah, RM has 17 wins and Barca only has 13...
Fabregas comes in, Barca stops being invicible...uh oh
and there aren't enough classico's in the season for Barca to catch up

LOOOOOOL good one (the second comment)
Both good. Is that a hint of Gooner self-deprecation? lol anyways, I wish Arsenal and Barcelona won their leagues instead of City and Madrid
you mean United and Madrid
I dare say this title is Real Madrid's to lose. The element of 'luck' is totally not with Barca this time...you need that if you want to win a title.

Sorry but Fab was poor in this game...he was just out of concentration.
hes crap anyway
+1
Uhm no. He's not.
you need luck to win a title? are you joking?
League is not over yet! for both madrid and barcelona.

it wasn't the refs that made you lose the points. it was a mixture of chance and lack of opportunism! I mean come on. Messi one on one with tons of space and time. tries to cheek it?

we know you're the best player in the world but put your feet on the ground a bit will ya?
+3
Yeah i have to admit that chip was unnecessary and it wouldn't have gone in even if it were to be on target because the defender reached the goal post. I think Messi is phenomenal but this time he definitely tried to showboat a bit and cost them 3 points.
+2
Good luck beating madrid now! HEHEHE >:D
+6
Thanks, whether sarcastic or not. We won't give up, and La Liga is not over.

this guy makes no sense what-so-ever!!
The problem is that the problem is not that it's a problem to beat Madrid.
after almost 350million madrid can see a major trophy in sight, well done.
+3
Yeah, cause AC Milan is composed of strictly academy players that have come up through the AC Milan youth system, right?

If Madrid spends 400 million and doesn't win anything they say "see, money doesn't buy trophies" (I agree) But as soon as Madrid start doing good then its "their money bought them the trophy"

I Think its hypocritical. Like your favourite team wouldn't kill to have Madrid type money. If they had it, they would just give to charity.
+12
whats d difference between my statement and yours ??? you just want to be a hero right?
and i can see there are many madrid fans watching barca's video hence the likes ...
And who says money doesn't buy you trophies thats a lie it does and city will prove it tell me the broke team wining trophies ??

if leeds united spent the amount Madrid has in the past three years they would have won the EPL and what do you have to show for it ? 1 cupa de rl and u crushed it

nice save for Alves...gj. i thought Villarreal took the lead there.
I agree with most of the comments so far...This was a tactical shortfall. I dont see why Cuenca and Tello couldnt in the wings. Alves as a Center Forward? Messi and Fabregas also hold some responsibility. They had clear chances that were squandered. This does not demerit Villareal's effort. They had better possession then Madrid! and their GK did a great job frustrating Barsa.

Conclusion: We just handed Real Madrid a lead that is highly dubious to surmount.
This is true and I believe most of the Barca fans are frustrated at the moment. However, I read some interesting stats from a comment in one of the Barca fans website and he said something that I wasn't aware of. May be you do perhaps I don't know.

"Last year, after round 21, we had 7 points on Madrid. I don't recall relaxing at all. There were too many more games left to play. Now, we ended up winning the league, but a huge part of that were two major stumbles by Madrid that lost them 6 points, at home, in the second half of the season against Zaragoza and Gijon.

Real Madrid dropped 13 points in the second half of last season, compared to 9 in the first half. So did we, but many of those were once we'd already won the league and stopped trying so hard. Madrid's were all before we won the league, and when even a few points was a big deal."

We still have half the season left, and it is common for teams to perform differently in the second half of the season. Assuming they don't drop points is unreasonable. We will drop points too but if Pep organise our resources better we still have a chance.
i Agree with everyone but cmon lets put ourselves in their shoes ..... they have won it the past 3 years and not just that but have won the champions league twice in the past 3 years .... and 2 world cup of clubs ... and many other things .... they are the best team in the world at this moment so i really feel like they may be getting cocky .... i as a barca fan wanna see them win but when they play like this i rather see them loose cuz now madrid have a demanding lead.... maybe this year they shouldnt win it to teach them a lesson and they can try harder .... or maybe they just need to loose so they can get their confidence back in order to REALLY step it up ..... but remember BARCA and MADRID are the 2 best rivals right now .... if madrid win La Liga but dont manage to beat barca in a league game they will not be satisfied with that win ..... and i dont want madrid to win cuz they gonna talk s**t saying they better than barca when IN REALITY THEY ARE NOT ..... they are the closest to being at their level but still BARCA IS BETTER ..... VISCA BARCA.... AND FYI FOR ALL MADRID FANS OUT THERE .... just cuz madrid tied with barca at camp nou DOESNT mean they can beat them ..... yeah it was a nice comeback ill give you that but it STILL wasnt enough to pass .... plus dont be saying you consider that a win CUZ YOU DID'NT WIN YOU TIED .... practically a losss since you didnt pass ..... VISCA BARCA!!!!!!!!!!
I don't think the current Barcelona strike force are deadly enough. Messi, Villa, Pedro last season were absolutely unstoppable.

Sanchez just doesn't do it for me. He's a good player but no game changer, and he lacks the edge against bigger teams. I don't think he can handle a decent EPL defence.

The position Fabregas plays in doesn't always work for him. I think he'd play better as an attacking midfielder directly behind Messi.

Well i hope they pull it together soon!! Don't want RM to win simply because I don't like that vile creature Pepe.
To be fair, Sanchez scored a goal in El clasico that brough us level in Dec. That one was a great finishing but I know what you mean. His playing style kind of stop the ball rolling and hence disturb the flow of the tiki-taka at times. Fabregas had a slight dip in form in the recent two games and it would be a bit unfair to say he cannot play "false nine" because he didn't perform in 2 games while he played quite well a couple matches before.
+2
That Sanchez goal in el clasico was delivered to him on a plate - most of the Barca team would have scored that. He has a tendency to stop the flow of passes then get stuck in a cul de sac. Look at Ibrahimovic - a top player but just didn't gel with Barca, and on paper he's probably as good as Villa.

Aguero would be an amazing addition to Barcelona's strike force because he has creativity and slick skills. Higuain despite being off form with RM, would gel with Barcelona too because he sticks to basics and is clinical when on form.
cmon barca, ur betta than this~ don't go all complacent n losing focus nw~~~

They say Thiago is the new Xavi.. it shows, a yellow card for dissent.
+1
give him some time
He is still growing.
Everyone says he's the new Xavi I honestly see him as the new Iniesta.
+1
I agree with Kidrobe. Im kind of hoping for a new Ronaldinho because of his flair but idk if hes lived in Brazil at all. He hints that he'll be a superstar flashy plauyer though
Made an account for this C**t! YousifSaid What a prick you are mate Seriously
+5
I made an account for the same thing, because it's so funny to see Barcelona fans get so heated.

He's mad, obviously trolling, living in the past, making excuses, and talking s**t because his beloved Barcelona dropped points. Sounds alot like your typical Barcelona fan.
+6
i dont like him either
+2
Far from typical Grrface, if you want to see typical Barca fans come to our forum. Much friendlier there.
+2
i love him.... he makes barca fans look bad :p
+4
Actually Barca fans here aren't that bad there's alot on here who like to talk football and make unbiased opinions but that YousifSaid guy is just a prick I don't even think his fellow Barca fans like him.
+1
Lol oh my feelings are so hurt hahaha. Thats too cute guys :) Im a true Barca fan not one of those who became a fan like 3-5 years ago proud fan since 97 and ill defend my team assholes. You come here to trashtalk my team Ill tell you that my team has dismantled yours.
You talk trash even to the Real Madrid fans that have said nothing bad about Barca defending your team is all well and good but not need to trash talk another team and other people with different opinions.
