Read it and as Milan supporter I focused on the Milan decisions.
1)Sanchez - He made a touch that made it so he lost control of the ball. He would not be able to reach it before it was out of play. This means he is not in control of the ball, and therefor no more part of the game which will change how crucial the incident have to be before the ref shall award either freekick or penalty to such a player. Normal criteria here would be how unnecessary the incident/foul that happens is. (Is it injury threatening? No. Is it unprovoked? No [He was going for the ball]) Fine lets move on. Now in this incident Sanchez was even the one to search contact with Abbiati and when done so, he put an extra dive. The goal line ref stands 5 feet away from the incident and see this and he make the decision right.
You might not like this, but it is 100% after the book.
2) Now this link at the forum didn't work so I couldn't see this Puyol incident in replay so I give you the benefit of doubt here.
3) Messi was fouled by Mesbah outside the box and should have been awarded a freekick. Not a penalty
Now this is been discussed. Why not highlight both sides here to get a better total view of this.
So okay, last match where you supposedly should have these 3 incidents where 2 is already scratched (1 freekick and one the ref got it right), why are nobody speaking of the foul at Shaarawy at the opposite side in the box? Unlike the Sanchez incident, Shaarawy would have had control of the ball and even been through your defensive line if it wasn't for this foul.
Oh and the 2nd leg. Your first penalty was 100% correct. No doubt.
2nd Penalty? 1) Busquets was holding Nesta as well. 2) Puyol did an illegal bodyblock at Nesta and 3) The ball was played as Busquets fall, ergo the foul happened before the pay is going on and the referee see it afterwards and blow for the one thing he see, Busquets laying down. (If he had seen the incident, he would have seen both the bodyblock and the fact that both parts were holding eachother)
Now the tackle which I have yet to see any Milan or other fans cry about as big crybabies as we are. Now can anyone explain me, using the rules the referee are supposed to use as guidelines when refereeing why the tackle of Dani Alves wat Abbiati was not awarded a red card? Yeah you heard me. Red. It was a 2foot stud tackling into a situation where he was nowhere near reaching the ball and ended up hitting Abbiatis legs (sitting though so not that likely to break but still serious injury threatening) I can assure you, any tackles like that on Messi which even hit and it would been a direct red card - No discussions. (I am just glad Abbiati didn't get injured, there is a fine line between playing rough and being reckless).
Oh what about the time when Zlatan got hooked in 2nd half by Mascherano it was I believe. Mascherano was nowhere near the ball here, yet not anything. Already in next attack of Barcelona, are player of you (messi i believe) get the same treatment by Prince and is correctly awarded a freekick.
Why not even take a brief look at Group stage matches we had? Van bommel own goal would never happened if it wasn't for Xavi standing there behind and thereby be a part of the game. He was in Offside.
Now I will even go with you saying the penalty was deserved as Nesta have no reason to lay his hands on Xavi's shoulder but why was Messi given a 2nd chance on penalty when no Milan players did any mistake here and all fault was with him for doing an illegal stop in the shooting moment which is supposed to be awarded with a freekick for the opposite team. (Not a yellow to Messi as he did get)
Oh and why was Milan not given their penalty when Robinho was fouled with that tackle not been close to the ball once again?
Now these last incidents I've highlighted was more in group stage and didn't matter for anything but who would get the 1st spot in our group so I guess we could completely ignore those calls as they had no significant meanings as we were to meet eachother again. I just felt the need to get the whole picture out here.
