Joe Hart goes ape about the wall LMAoo
Why are people voting that man city played great whitecaps were owning them!!
Is it just me or are they lower ranked MLS teams performing better against the European clubs than the top MLS Teams? How does Man United Demolish Sounders (ranked 2nd in the league) 7-0 yet only scrapes a 4-1 second half victory over bottom ranked New England Revolution? And now Whitecaps nearly out play City?
To people sying mls etc in league with epl because of these results, its because its pre-season in england. They havwe to travel and in process of gaining fitness
Now I have seen it all, I can say the premium league maybe the worlds best league, but guess what ...it is not that advance f or much better from the MLS, and no matter anybody says what I saw on this friendly games is a proof
Everton lost to philadelphia union,
-Newcastle tied with kansas
-Timbers almost beat West brom
-And the man city of all team just got luck and won by one goal.

..thats my story and I am sticking to it.
We hear what you're saying but we just don't care.!!!!

I wanna reach your mind - where is it currently located? Roof
"friendly games is a proof"(>>B>Plans)
Malaysia scored 3 against Liverpool
Familesso I see what you're saying but this is still a friendly... Let's look at all the factors here... Yes City got lucky and should have played better because of all those footballers in the team... But they are also not as match fit as the Whitecaps who are currently in mid season right now... Although City should have won because Vancouver is not the best team in the MLS... They are doing very poor this season...

Here's my opinion... People tend to make excuses when a club like Manchester City loses to any club that's looked down upon... Specially an MLS side... People always bash the quality in MLS when in fact the quality of football in MLS is great... No it's not in the level of European football because MLS has only been around since 1996... And people don't take that in consideration...

People love to bash anything American and I don't know why but MLS is a North American league meaning it's both USA and Canada... Yet nobody says anything about Canada... Just comes to show the hatred towards America...

Before I ramble further... As a football fan first... You can't base this one match off the quality of the league or the teams... MLS is not in the same level as Europe but the brand of football here in the Americas are different... It's more physical than fundamental at this point... But even with that said by all means that MLS very quality league... I say they are in between Championship football and League 1 football with a tiny bit touch of the EPL... Just a pinch... That's my comparison and opinion...

As for Manchester City in this match... They can fix things before the season begins... Yes it's a tournament but it's a friendly one...
when did u start watching football , just because welsh team(or say team based in wales) plays in english league or english teaam berwick plays in scottish league dont mean its a british league, san marina teams play in italian league, monaco in ffrance n many more of such it the world
MLS is american league if a mexican tema decides 2 join mls they ve free, they ll only fall under jurisdiction of the mls
i dont get it...uniteds away has blue and city's has red. wtffff

traditional stuff from both sides thats all.
Dont need new blood, just use SWP for d front!
I WISH ALL THOSE SHORT DUMB REPLAYS WERE LIKE THIS INSTEAD!!

nice job for both teams.

very impressed with Vancouver. they showed some good understanding of space and passing. 1st year in the MLS, there's going to be some burn in time but they can develop.

Hopefully Montreal does well next year too!

Manchester picked up their game toward the end of the second half. Guddetti could have had at least one other point. Sean-Wright ... ooof, showen' how good the game can be!

Either way, great for Canadian soccer and ... Barwuah, dai calma ti. Non essere testardo. Sei un grande!
what a goal Shaun Wright-Phillips
Weiss and SWP look sharp
good game. Both teams played well, had mistakes, and attacked. A little unlucky for Vancouver.
with all tht money and huge salaries, city barely managed to win over the worst team in the western conference of the mls.

*yawn*
you know perfectly well that money isnt everything in football, look at Real.
Well real got into the CL semis after like 7 years so it was worth it for them anyways.
@Henneesh... Reddevil278 is just stating a fact... I'm not trying to bash on City either because I have nothing against them but Vancouver isn't the brightest light bulb in the MLS closet... At least not this year... Just saying...
weiss and ghirdeetti guy r pretty good, balotelli got better as in he's not as much of a ballhog anymore, and OMG WHERE WAS SWP THE WHOLE OF LAST SEASON!!!! oh and lmao mancini has a son..playing on mancity.. lol
Vladimír Weiss is good, I don't understand why he doesn't make into the 1st quad..
