Predicted Uruguay would get to the final, seemed outlandish but look. Paraguay is more than a surprise a serious shock. Welldone to paraguay bets team in the tournament and deserved winners. Why did this Forlan never show up at United?? A missed gem.
liverpool needs to sign forlan now.
Wow. Forlan really has some confidence in shooting
Suarez is a beast! A serious contender for next year's Ballon D'Or Trophy

But you also have to remember that Uruguay is a nation of 3.1 million people. For such a small country to have won the world cup is a feat, no matter how long back. They have the legacy...

''60 years ago'', so what if it was the first 2 world cups that they won, should we just discount brazils, italys englands world cup wins aswell because they were a long time ago? a wins a win doesnt matter how far back. football doesnt change its still played with 22 players,a ball and 2 goals

get a clue lad

The game has evolved. Players have evolved. Competition has evolved. So yes the game is still played under the same rules, the way it's played has changed over time.

And c'mon. The U.S. coming in 4th? Let's be real here.
Suarez has a very bright future ahead of him, he is a fantastic young talent !
honestly I don't see why more managers weren't after suarez after the world cup - and before. the guy is a proven goal scorer. his record for ajax is unbelievable. Sometimes I wonder how hard is it really to be a manager? a player like suarez (who a five year old knows would be a good signing) remained at ajax eventhough his market price was similar to or below the likes of henderson, dzeko and carroll

Man City should of got him instead of Dzeko and Forlan instead of Miller.
Very happy to see Uruguay win a major title.
Suarez is terrific and Forlan can surely ply his trade in the Premier League if Tottenham came knocking.
lol calm your balls everyone. Suarez and Forlan did well but then again its Paraguay. Get off their nuts. Besides... Club games are more challenging as the players in the league get payed millions.. and there is more at stake... and there is more practices... Anyways congrats to Uruguay they deserved it..
I wouldn't say there is more at stake, surely not for the players!
I JUST CANT GET ENOUGH! I JUST CANT GET ENOUGH! Premiere league defenders better watch out for the Uruguayian hitman!
