Where was Dempsey in all of this glory? I don't mean to sound like an idiot, just curious.

some stunning play from the states! and what a stunner by bradley
WOW! Outstanding!!
beautiful goal from Bradley, just beautiful
Funny that the US scored all 6 goals lol.

Great show to watch, I hope for the continued success of Klinsman.
dont think i ever remember seeing or being able to say that a goal by the US was of the "world class" caliber. but that strike by bradley was world class. pretty impressive no matter who you're playing.

That is exactly what I thought when I saw that haha! I couldn't have said it better myself!
I remember an "almost world class goal" by balboa for the usa during the wc 94.It was a bicycle kick, but realy beautifully taken and just an inch wide.

you can youtube it: USA vs Colombia 1994 World Cup - Balboa bicycle kick
There have been world class goals scored by the US. Look up Benny Feilhaber's winner in the Gold Cup final against Mexico in 2007.
So impressed with the chances we created this game and the overall attitude we had on the offensive side of the ball. Add Dempsey to the attack power we showed in this match and we could start to actually consistently compete with better teams.

Sure, Scotland isn't the best of teams (probably one of the worst in Europe) but USA looked like they've become stronger tactically lately, and have more creativity in offense. Definitely a team to watch, I am sure this team and coach could rub shoulders with the best right now. Greetings from Norway :)

Great win for the US, but let's not get overexcited. This was Scotland after all & they're terrible at the moment. Let's see how we do vs. Brazil on Wed.

you guys do know klinsmann is a former bayern player and coach right? ershlaft, i thought you'd want the usa to do well under him...

@atl, bayern have a good record for winning penalties -- my team learned this the hard way :(.

I'm not discounting Klinsman's heroics as a player. Those of us who eat and breath this football know what he couldn't do as a coach in 2006 and subsequently in the 2008/9 season.

Wish Phillip Lahm would've written his book for american readers too.

With all the home support and the talented players in 2006; he didn't even reach the final.

I doubt that he'd achieve half of what BB did in twice as much time.
terrible video! didn't even show the whole game highlights
