Honduras seemed to have only one play in mind: Pass the ball to the fast guy upfront and let him run. Too bad the guy cannot finish to save his country. Good goal by Quaranta. I am still not convinced about Charlie Davies. Sure he is quick but can he score?

consistent is not the word for us football, but still it has been amazing to see the team step up the level of play in recent matches

I totally agree that the level of US football has risen greatly in the last 8 years. I think what I was trying to say is that as of late, their effort is always the same, they tend to stay poised as a team.

US strong as usual. What I like about the US is that they have a certain level of play and they almost never step down from that level. They are very consistent.
