interesting tidbit: over 90% of canada's population lives within 100 miles of the us border
USA played good, its too bad Canada didn't finish some chances, and really want Canada to become a better nation at soccer(football)
well played. Howard is such a good goalie. US might have lost if Howard wasn't there

Good game for the USA - 2 particular highlights were from the EPL-based players: -

Dempsey's scorpion kick - had that gone in, that would've claimed my vote for goal of the week.

Howard's amazing reactions - blocking a shot, then getting up so quickly and blocking the next shot with his hands from point blank. Perhaps that can be voted as save of the week?

*facepalm*... And that's why I root for England.
why's that?
Good result for the USA, would have expected more against a team like Canada, but hey, a win is a win. Grats
AMERICA f**k YEAH!

Team America... Nice... LOL...
Shame that scorpion kick didn't go in. That would have been pretty epic. Well done boys, well done.

Ford Field! Deeetroit!!!
can Brad Davis get a call up or what? he's got the most assists in MLS right now. one more than David Beckham! how about we call Beckham the right footed Brad Davis instead of vice versa. USA!!!
JOZY BRING IT HOME !
we looked a hell of a lot better here than against spain, we still do stupid things like random lob through balls that never work. We need to learn to be more patient and pass better. We are also inconstant cause we dont play like this against spain or other top teams.
that being said well done boys, we looked pretty good for our ability right now
I really dislike how the north American teams play... they base everything on speed. They need to learn more controlled passing.

I agree, we haven't developed a game that is effective. its ugly we need a coach to emphasize passing, it was better in this game than spain. but we gotta pass better against every team
+2
Agreed. Next we need to learn the definition of the "drop ball"

Wanna know how to do this??? Get rid of Bob Bradley...

makes me mad just watching them play...it looks like hockey :(

Your all right but your being harsh if u expect to be on the same level as the Western European teams. Decades of high level competition do matter and takes time to reciprocate. However, Bob Bradley isnt a terrible coach but just not the best futbol coach esp for what the U.S. needs.

In my opinion, if a football team wins a match, then the tactic they adopted obviously succeeded, so no complaints from me.
