Good win for Spurs. Defoe is a brilliant striker and knows how to finish and place the ball very well and a great underrated striker i think. Bale can shoot beautifully and doesn't get his luck, smoking the cross bar, what a shot in first half, but he finally got his in 2nd half when it just edged the post and went in. Good for him and Spurs. And finally Andy Carroll gets his West Ham goal, great header forsure.

I was very happy to see Dempsey finally step it up. As an American, Dempsey has always given me hope that we could produce a top class player. His slow start has been distressing and a let down. That he finally made things happen for Tottenham, who have deserved better than they've gotten, was great. Hope he is able to maintain that level of play.

Bale is an astonishing player. But, Harry R. Bale > CR7 is a far stretch mate.

I actually watched match of the day yesterday. Haven't been able to in over a month thanks to our form.

Very encouraging performance, I just hope we can maintain that level of play going forward for the remainder of the season..
