top 2*

Top half is guaranteed for Man City, in my opinion, at least. I'm sure some will disagree.
I think this show's the difference between the transfer choices of both teams. It's been said time and time again that Redknapp is a wheeler-dealer on the transfer market and this season is no exception. Scott Parker has really taken them to the next level in quality, and I am amazed it has taken this long for him to finally get an England call-up, after only having eight caps in eight years. Adebayor, regardless of past history with Arsenal, was professional and did his job, unlucky to score. The team was balanced both for attacking and defending (also, "Hello, I am Kyle Walker, and I am your new hero", awesome strike")

Arsenal, while not bad, are not Top Four and possibly going to struggle for Top 7. Wenger opting to buy a striker and attacking midfielder over bolstering the defence (Mertesacker the exception)but none of them seem to take the game by the scruff of the neck that players such as the Tottenham midfield can. Bale, Modric, Van der Vaart and Parker, I would say only City and United have a midfield that can sound as threatening as that.

Tottenham top 4, and dare I say, above Arsenal and Chelsea this season.

On the other side
above Chelsea....hmmmmm kids do say the damndest things
It is not impossible
Wenger SAW the handball? That makes a change!!!

don't worry i didn't see it ;p....
arsenal is loosing it spurs play great soccer but arsenal are just not good enough. they will loose van pesie unless they get more talent or pay the man a incredible amount of money becasue he is one of the top strikers in this game and deserves to win more cups. feels sorry for him such a good player. wanger is a great coach but he is f*****g this team up and they have money to buy arsenal has sold some of the best players in the world but you cant play with all kids in your starting 11 unless he was in mls then he could win some
The fact that Arsenal nearly have a starting eleven out, and Spurs had a pretty much full strength squad is one point.

Second on Arsene not spending, yes he could have paid 25 million for Mata, but he can't pay his wages. It's not in there wage structure, same reason why they couldn't keep hold of Nasri even when Arsenal were in-form last season.
ohhh ya tell pep, the last thing we want to hear is another saga..szesney not going anywhere (that saga hits us hard, it sxxks)....
Imnotu, that's an invalid argument, I can say neither of our CB were who we wanted due to injuries and Sandro was only able to come on late due to the fact he is recovering from injury. Did you see how he bossed the midfield in the final half hour? Imagine playing against him for the whole game. My point is, yes they had injuries, but it's not like we didn't. Also, both you and Man C beat us when our squad was not close to full strength, by the same argument, it wasn't a fair matchup right?

ahhhh...isn't juleslnter beutiful??great way to forget the the defeat ;p.....
Booshy... We're not all like that, it bugs me aswell when i see cocky supporters, especially when they're United fans, but in all honesty, he wasn't being cocky, he was just stating what you'd also state if United were in the same situation.

Szczesny very unlucky with Walker's shot, I've looked at it, and i think Modric screens his view and he doesn't see it immediately, hence his late reaction.

Still no excuse for a goalkeeper of his calibre. He is quite likely one of the best goalies in the league right now and the fact that he didn't come out farther and cut down the angle is ridiculous. He would've saved it if he'd just taken maybe three or four steps forward. Goalkeepers are supposed to match their position inside the box to the position of the ball (i.e. in final third of box when ball is in your third of the pitch and be in the outside third of the box when the ball is in the opposition's third). Walker was running forward from the half line, I just think Szceszny should have been farther forward. Not unlucky, his own fault.
Adebayor's game has improved tremendously, I guess he benefited so much from playing against better talent in Real-Madrid. Arsenal's goalie could've saved both those goals easily, but at the same time, it could've been 4-0 easily. Wenger and his bosses will need to spend money at some point if they need to maintain Arsenal's name as a soccer power house in England.
LOL! Gary Neville : "when gareth bale opens his legs like that, its a fantastic sight."

Arsenal not having the funds to buy players is not true at all.The team they have now was created by Arsene's philosophy of buying young talent and trying to mold them into the world class players. Teams like United and Barcelona understand the importance of having a mix of youth and experienced players as well as players that have played in their league for most of their careers and understand what it takes to play at the highest level of that league. If Arsenal didn't have the funds, he wouldn't have bought Benayoun, Arteta, and Mertesacker who to me, are all good experienced players. 2 of which have much experience in the EPL. Arsenal are even looking to add more during January. So saying that Arsenal can't buy well established players bcos they do not have the funds is pretty much bs. They're one of the richest clubs in the world. And one of the few top clubs not in debt.

I agree, I admire Wenger but his philosophy is flawed. you NEED top class SR players to be able to compete in the top of the premier league, and arsenal has quality .. just not enough consistant senior performers after Cesc and Samir left. these young players to be able to flourish and raise their own game needs seniors around to clean up their mess and also command the lines of every aspect of the pitch. thats where for instance manchester united has done so well, we bring in talent and give them freedom to explore their own ability due to the amount of senior players we have. arsenals main consern should be with the defence, its ridiculous how easy they are beaten. they dont look focused and in sync with eachother ATALL. and with arsenals attacking full backs the center backs are left far too exposed, and they dont have the pace to make up for that either.. I wouldn't want to be in Wengers shoes this year, with the supporters on his back craving trophies(LOL) his job is unbelivably hard.

Yea, you're right. What Arsenal needs is some quality British defenders. They mainly have foreign players who can't handle the physicality of the English game (Besides Sagna). If Arsenal can get British players like Gary Cahill and Jagielka, they'll be much stronger at the back.
watch out, dooms day coming coz arsenal lose a match......hahahahahahhaha...aiyayayayaya, lots of work for wenger to do. Another broken leg with another defender gone, how many already? Anyone want squilaci to play rise your hand plz??..opss i see none..lol..i wonder who is next for medical leave???..wonder why wenge don't want to play park, becoz of his name?park in the bench..
wow you arsenal fans are really losing it..
