Penalties or not we managed a win against a champion side, i was very proud that night and we have been punished for our supposed crimes by losing van da vaart and Huddleston. we have a few costly players out of the side so i'm pretty sure our game with inter will be interesting/ depressing
This is the way I perceived the match:

The first penalty was actually a foul by Crouch himself... He pulled the defender down. At the second penalty Bale already felt before being touched. At the third penalty the ball was shot when the defender had his arm next to his body. Because of the force of the shot his arm moved away to the right. This made it seem like he was sticking out his arm. An unjust penalty again. The only actual penalty that should maybe have been given in this match was for Twente because of a handball of Crouch... And obviously Huddleston should have been send off in the first half as well. I'm glad the UEFA will suspend him.

This match was a classic example of how the referees can have a major role in the outcoming of the game. By the way, If Tottenham were playing against Chelsea, Arsenal or Barcelona the whole world would have been upside down.

To quote Drogba: it's a f*cking disgrace!
bit biased?
very biased. I think tottenham did a good job, i still think they have the potential to do more! some great players and a good manager.
Tottenham Arsenal final would be epic
Unparalleled! In a game like that I'd see both sides pretty wound up. Could you imagine the amout of cards that would come out?! HA.
that was epic
Gareth Bale, I will say this time and time again, he is the new Ryan Giggs. Perhaps more of a complete player since he can play at the back as well. Even though I'm an Arsenal fan I would be dumbfounded if Ferguson didn't try and sign him up to MU.
i dont think spurs should be proud of winnig by penalties
........well simple as, they won. opponent too stupid enough to make silly challenges in the penalty box they deserve to lose, although one of the penalties were lucky to be given
YEAH!
Silly refereeing, Spurs got really lucky not having Huddlestone sent off for a blatant elbow and getting 3 soft penalties. Oh well.
Ref was harsh to give the last penalty!
Nice van der Vaart!! very physical game
poor van der vaart. he scores a goal and got a red card :( who cares FORZA MILAN lol
Good performance from 'Arry's Spurs, they could do well in this competition
3rd penalty was a joke
The arm was high, his elbow sticking straight out, which was completely unnecessary - and illegal. It was a penalty!
what a game for R. van der Vaart!
this is great . anyway avrge twente , nt bad at all
hah a referee like this always make´s the game funny
