Tottenham have such a well balanced and amazing midfield/attack

Parker - holding midfielder. In England's first XI nowadays

Modric - deep lying playmaker. Chelsea were willing to pay £35mil

Lennon - right wing. Inconsistent but no doubt hes always a threat

Bale - left wing. When on form, hes unstoppable

VDV - attacking mid. Scores goals, sets them up. Bargain at £7mil

Adebayor - target man. He's a compelte striker, quick, strong, good in the air, good with his feet. Just needs a bit more consistency

Im predicting Tottenham to finish 4th ahead of Arsenal and Liverpool this season provided they dont get major injuries

Spurs is a team everyone likes. May be because they are not regular top 4. But I feel it comes from seeing a good manager not spending much able to build an stable attacking team.

I know VDV is doing great but Defoe really needs more time. He is a much faster Player and much better passer and VDV tends to lose focus later in games. Also Defoe and Adebayor compliment each other very well whereas VDV tends to try and dominate by shooting a lot. Defoe should be playing at least 30-45 minutes of every premier league game.

VDV is a much better passer than dafoe.

non the less you are right, but VDV should always start with aderbayor, and dafoe should be use at the last 40 min IF THEY ARE LOSING, ofcourse.

@Aviko1120 i am also a big fan of jd but when a mans scoring goals like vdv is you just have to sit and watch!! Also vdv passing is normally in a different league to j`s as vdv has a midfielders side to his game!!

I do hate to see JD not on the pitch but with world class players in adebayor and VDV it is no surprise he has lost time this year. He must do everything he can when he gets his minutes

Adebayor was below average in the QPR game.. a true disappointment! I really think we ought to get a good striker on the perm. soon. It's really frustrating, we had countless chances against QPR and Ade scuffed them all!!

Whenever I watch Spurs play, I'm amazed by what 'ole 'Arry has done with the squad. He's brought in superb players who play great attacking football. I'd love to see Tottenham in the Champions League next season. Its gonna be tough but its definitely not impossible.

Bale is actually a world class player, spurs are lucky to have him and VDV. Modric on the other hand i think is overrated.

Modric is pretty key for our team. He doesn't lose the ball and he makes a great pass 85% of the time. VDV is a great finisher but his passing is not very good at times. If you saw the full game vs QPR you see that one of the reasons Adebayor didn't put in a goal was that VDV kept playing him bad through balls.

Modric overrated? He's a genius on the ball, he has some of the best vision in the game. He is very attacking minded and he distributes brilliantly. If I'd have to pick and overrated player it would be Lennon
