The Animated Edition: Chelsea's Eden Hazard kicks ball boy
Must Watch - 4 months ago
Watching: Eden Hazard and Chelsea are once again in hot water after the Belgian star kicked ball boy Charlie Morgan during their Capital One Cup semi final against Swansea when he refused to return the ball. Hazard was red carded for his actions, but information has emerged that suggests Morgan - the 17-year old son of a millionaire Swansea shareholder - is not as innocent as it first seemed.

At the 1:07 mark, I was unaware that Chelsea fans were lashed at on Twitter for arguing that Hazard shouldn't have been sent off... It was obvious that he shouldn't have received the red, but a lot of the "lashing" was influenced by the media, which I am quite certain that after stories hit international news, a bunch of idiots from Canada and US decided they were suddenly football experts and ballboy-apologists and wrongly attacked Chelsea fans online. I read the news (online) every morning, and most of the comments - generally a biased but somewhat fair representation of readers' opinions - stated that Hazard deserved his sending off. THAT is why I resort to using a word like "idiot" to address those who attacked Chelsea fans who argued Hazard shouldn't have been sent off. An immature use of words to label an immature demographic.
