the weekend is long gone and i saw it live and am still wondering with that marking how the hell did Arshavin cross that ball let alone find Henry!!!!!! o_O?.....

terrific player he is he just needs to up his confidence! .... i am going to miss Henry will enjoy his last match later ! ^_^
Henry,i s always been a great player. He is class. A very average goal, a tap in. I would have score that.
HENRY IS A KING!
Fifa fair play award = not Sunderland

Goal of the week is becoming a popularity contest, nothing more. Henry's goal was unremarkable.
you know what they say...form is temporary, class is permanent.

wtf about fairplay it is obvious chance and u need to take it some times defender of kepper fall down and the game is so fast that u dont have time to look back and ask are u ok ?
just need to take chances its all about that........fucck fairplay if it was little far from post then they can kick the ball out..
Alfrodo, so is best player in the world ;)

Have to add, Henry's movement and vision is still class.
I honestly think its a disgrace to the Premier League to have a pitch in such bad conditions. Sunderland are a big club i'm sure they have the money and resources to maintain a football pitch.

Henry is gonna hate the MLS now, if he didnt already. He needs to stay in europe. Its where he belongs

American is pretty nice you should come here lol

henry! wanna move to seattle? :)
Why would he hate the MLS now, just because you do?
Not because I do, because he got another taste of Europe, and his old home arsenal, and now he has to go back to the red bulls. I mean come on..
Going from the top league in the world to a minor development league

Can't see how Arshavin has lost it; Great cross to Henry

Wenger is such a shrewd manager...recall the intense pressure he was receiving from fans to drop Arshavin and his response was quote; he is frustrating to watch at times but he is an efficient player. I think Arshavins understated yet vital contribution in this game vindicates Wenger

Exactly there can only be one le boss!
pitch was bullshit

don't know what you mean, some parts of it were even green and vegetated... and none of the players got lost in the holes.

@muskote i guess you dint watch the whole match? you should because then you would have seen how horrible the pitch is,very horrible with the countless holes...watch the full match and you'll know mate

Edit: if its sarcastic then lol dont mind my rant:)

V. Persie and Henry sitting on a tree, k-i-s-s-i-n-g! I wouldn't begrudge Sunderland for continuing the game if I was Merta, it's part of the game and it's not like it's a game between life and death, besides Arsenal are made up of more than 1 player on the field. Doesn't Henry's comment at the end remind you of superhero comic books, as if his lines were taken straight out of their talking bubbles after the hero saves the day?
I think it's wrong to condemn McClean for continuing even after Mertesacker collapsed. It's instilled in the players to play the whistle and by instinct, he continued to play and scored. What if it turned out that Mertesacker merely tripped (let's face it that's a huge possibilty) and McClean stopped the play? Sunderland knew they had to capitalize on any opportunity they got and that was one of them. So all you people complaining about "fair play" need to understand that McClean did the right thing.

I agree. Players just trip or lose balance and regain it every now and then and the game is too fast to think about fair play in a situation like that. Imagine Mertesacker got on his feet after a second and McClean looks back just to see a big German run at him and take the ball back, a chance wasted.

Henry should stay at Arsenal lol
hahah arshavin has been so bad but that cross shows he's still got it. speaking of still got it, what more can be said about henry? still the king!

Not much in the game until the second half, with a bit of luck going Sunderland's way when Mertesacker went down - what was his injury? Is he going to be out for long?

Good signoff for Henry, he and Landon Donovan have really shined in the EPL on their loan spells, and can go back to the MLS full of confidence.
