as a die hard pool fan, i wanted to see sturridge in, but the irony of his signing would be funny if it wasnt so sad. clearly we are not city or chelsea, and cannot afford the ill advised expensive signing. Before im going to say what im going to say i must preface it by saying that although we overpaid for carrol, we never saw him at his best. he was forced back early his first year, and only really got fit and a good run of games late his second year; oddly enuff when he started to produce. That asside, we COULD HAVE GOTTEN 40 MIL + STURRIDGE FOR TORRES AND WE TURNT IT DOWN. NOW WEVE PAID 12 MIL FOR THE KID 2 YEARS LATER. WE COULD HAVE HAD A MORE ACCOMPLISHED, PREM. PROVEN TALENT FOR 2 MIL LESS 2 YEARS AGO, AND HAD ANOTHER 40 MIL TO SPEND ON OTHER PLAYERS...i think commoli was getting side payments from some1 over @ manure

that boy is going to shine @Liverpool. i would have chosen him over Torres any day. glad he left because he deserves first team action.

im so glad that chelsea got rid of SELFISH sturridge. he is the most selfish player i have ever seen. I think that chelsea got money for this selfish player. Good luck liverpool, but i think you will regret buying this selfish player.

I liked the good money Liverpool got for Torres. Most stikers are selfish. It could be the making of Sturridge ,which would be good for Liverpool and England. Providing he can settle their. Mata a class act hope Demba works out
