Have to say credit to Moyes...............good, honest manager same as Pulis

Jagielka is holding Jones all game but no-one mentions that. Fellaini was the most carded player 2 seasons ago and you can see why. No excuses. Stoke play tough but get on with it when given back and credit to them. Imagine if that was on an Arsenal player.........he'd still be on the ground holding his face and crying. Shawcross took it and got straight up same as Wilkinson 2 weeks ago. Great to see in this era of ballet dancers like Arsenal

Ha! Agree with much here, but Arsenal's getting better. Wilshere is pure class. As long as they build around him and Cazorla they'll quickly escape the French ballet performances.
I can't understand the MOTD pundits blatantly overexaggerating the stuff leading up to the headbutt, that kind of stuff goes on EVERY game... there is always goings on during set pieces, the headbutt was escessive, but I understand Fellaini's frustration.

Fellaini lost his temper, but I do have to say that Shawcross should have been penalized first for incessantly holding Fellaini. When you don't feel that you are getting the protection required from the ref, you are tempted to take matters into your own hands. That's what Fellaini did. I'm not defending him, I'm just pointing it out. All in all, it was appropriate that this game ended in a draw. Now we'll see what Everton can do without him for a few matches.

I hate to say it and as much as I find Fellaini's behaviour completely unacceptable, I must admit that Stoke deserved that type of treatment. They're a team built for a physical game and their strategy is to do anything and everything possible to frustrate the opposition and throw them off their game as opposed to playing a beautiful game themselves.
I too am quite surprised at Shawncross' calmness with the whole situation. I guess he gets off on that sort of s**t :P

Gave you a thumb up even tho I disagree with your characterization of Stoke.
shawcross was too calm..if it was me fellaini will be bald by now

Respect for Moyes for calling for a red card. And respect for Fellaini for apologizing.

But in NO WAY was it deserving of red cards anywhere on the pitch. Shawcross and Pulis seemed to not care a divot about Fellaini's headbutts and punches. They deal with this week in and week out. It's Shawcross' job to frustrate opponents, and he's always eaten his fair share knowing it's part of the game.

And being at the Britt, where the refs are known to pocket their whistles and cards, hard to complain about anything. Good show.
fellaini has been a dirty player for ages. hes always elbwing people and body checkng people and just being generally rough. im glad that he might finally get some justice, although i dont think this headbutt was as bad as people are making out.

The match was against Stoke. Nobody should be crying. Nothing wrong with being physical.
yeah Fellaini is a miserable c**t
Fellaini was playing kind of dirty. Shawcross was also consistently holding him. Fouls on both ends. That headbutt was uncalled for though.
When did Joey Barton sign for Everton?

LOL
WTF was Fellaini thinking??? David Moyes's expression after being asked about it was of utter disappointment and horror. What planet was he on if he thought he'd get away with it? I mean THREE times??? If you're being held, tell the referee to keep an eye on it, but don't assault someone three f***ing times! Absolutely disgusting and unjustified!

What a c**k.
First time watching Stoke, Arsenal fan? You're complaining more than Shawcross, who probably shook Fellaini's hand after the match cause he could care less.

Pretty sure Howard would have saved that a couple of years ago. He isn't getting younger.
That was kind of a strange attempted save from Howard, it looked like he was afraid of diving into the post. Perhaps he should've been further off his line?
blahhhhhhh
take the point
osman - derp
howard, easy save that was a joke
