When Ramsey celebrated with Bendtner, I almost cringed as I knew what was coming :(
i agree but this my 50 match for arsenal it arlday happned two to playres eduardo but den i left der brtiania stadium
I want to see eboue operating central more often
well al least Shawcross didn`t look like done it on purpose.i guess that things like that just happen in football.arsenal will have to go on.
totally agree.
oh my godddd! i don't have words :O
No offense, but Ramsey went in for the ball hard too, and I don't think it is Shawcross's fault because if you look at the video carefully, Showcross was trying to kick the ball, but unfortunately Ramsey put his leg in the way of Shawcross's foot.
i guess the best thing now is to stop talking about it. its's over. it was sick. ramsey probably doesnt need it to be everywhere. at least we fans don't anymore. cmon gooners, we got a cup to win!
You can't escape the footage...

Make up your own mind as to who is lunging in...

listen mate i know ur a stoke fan but show some fuc*ing respect. I know its not shawcross's fault, it was innocent, he went for the ball, we all get that. But for you to accuse ramsey for what happened to him is fuc*ing bullshit. Shawcross got beaten, simple as. Now give me your shirt so i can wipe my ass with it.
A sample of 99.9% of the Arsenal fan's responses, and I quote:

"A coward and a clumsy bully. A f**king joke of a player"
"Shawcross should get banned for the season" the occasional "banned for life"
"Tackles like a goddamn hippo"
"Know the difference between a mistimed tackle and a sh*t one"
"Make that bulls**t of a tackle"
"Kick your opponents to the ground"
"Charging into opposition half and flying into a tackle recklessly and with intent"
"A reckless and violently bone snapping challenge"
"If you're allowed to get away with that, then it makes me wonder why Zidane didn't just snap Materazzi's leg in half"
"Encourage future 'accidents'"
"Ryan Shawcross is s**t!"
"This is a dangerous 'player'"
"Hang up those boots thug. You have nothing to offer the game"

They was a few of my favourites, only up to page 4...

I said nowhere that Ramsey was to blame, but the blame 9/10 Arsenal fans put on Shawcross is ridiculous. As for the ass wiping, mature.

Best wishes to Ramsey.
Sorry. From that link you sent it looks like ramseys the won who was going for it, but i've seen the video many times on slow motion. You didnt make it clear in the first post that you were talking about arsenal Fans. YES your right, arsenal fans are pric*S. Most of them anyway ;).

I think ryan does have a reputation for injurying people though. Hes a good player but he takes risks. But important thing is, he didnt mean it. I've been telling other arsenal fans the same thing on here but they're idiots.
R. Shawcross entrata criminale! L'Arsenal ha vinto, ma una squadra importante prierdere dopo la partita!
since when is going for the ball criminal?
you have to hate stoke...not just because of the tackle. their football is awful and the crowd is so stupid. i m sorry but they seem so uneducated. their stupid cheering after mistakes of the away team drives me insane..they are like cavemen!
good win. arsenal are going to win the PL
Shawcross is a great player! One for the future! Ramsey too! Just a freak accident! Get over it girls!
ok darlying.
i agree with @Nearski.
Is anyone serious defending Shawcross? All it takes it a look at his young career to see he is a coward and a clumsy bully. A f**king joke of a player. Since he played for Antwerp he has been injurying players with his clumsy challenges(ie
). Have yourselves a look you blind bastards. In November 2008 he made a challenge on Adebayor(the c**t himself) and put him out for 3 weeks. Check the facts boys. It was unnecessary and off the pitch. Shawcross has a history of injurying players, it may be unlucky. It's unlucky when a pour hot grease out my window and it lands on a beautiful young lass. I must still face the consequences. Shawcross has potentially ruined the career of one of the brightest midfield prospects in all of europe. Watch his play with the Welsh national squad or in the Cup matches this year for arsenal. There is no doubt he was going to be a top class, quality player. Shawcross has taken this away from him. My heart goes out to Aaron. Let's all hope, for the sake of good football the world over, that he is able to put his head down and work hard to get back to the level the EPL demands. His skill certainly deserves no less. And to all the Shawcross apologists, get real. He is an animal, and if he weren't English you'd agree. Just imagine if Gallas made a similar tackle on Rooney or Gerrard. You'd all be calling for his head. But since it's an arsenal player, Shawcross is the victim that has to deal with Pyschological s**t. BS. Just look at poor Ramsey's leg.
welcome to the Premier League.. maybe you're better off watching spanish football !
nearski you re an idiot. i wonder if a similar injury to yourself would change your mind
jeanders you need to calm down. Yea shawcross is clumsy, he has bad history when it comes to injurying players. But thats his style, play rough and physical to win the game, but by no means is he intentionally trying to break someenes leg. Just because severe shi* like this happens it doesnt mean you HAVE to blame someone. Sometimes you just accept that it was purely an accident. Stoke have a reputation for playing like this against any team, not just arsenal.

Having now seen 4 examples of injuring players by Shawcross. For Antwerp (1) and for Stoke (3), all those out there with the "Hes not that kind of player" defense can eat their words. To all of the MAN U and Liverpool and Chelsea and England fans out there, what would you be saying if Rooney or Gerrard, or your beloved JT had been the victim of a challenge which left them with their leg being snapped like a twig? Yeah I'll bet you would be defending the tackle and saying it was 50-50, right? You would keep on with "He's not that kind of player", right? You would say it was just bad luck, right? Just a coincidence I suppose....but I'm with AW on this one, don't believe in coincidence.
well you better start believing in coincidence, because thats football. Im a fan of Arsenal and i dont believe he tried to injure Ramsey on purpose. thats life man.
it s all about intelligence. some players simply are stupid...he wasn t thinking of any consequences. calling this tackle a coincidence is a shame! ánd STUPIDNESS IS NO EXCUSE
@OSSIE: You can be ignorant to the facts and believe in all the coincidence you want, dont tell me what I'd better do. I know football bro, and thats not how you play. Just what is he trying to do? Kick the ball out for a goal kick? He chops right through the boys leg, he is not clearing his lines or making a last ditch challenge. I can say he didn't mean to break his leg if that helps(though does it matter if he meant to break it?), but "He's not that kind of player" is total BS. If you are a fan of Arsenal, maybe you heard AW lament about how teams kick us out of the game and that nobody has a problem with that, that is how TV pundits tell teams to play against Arsenal, to throw them off their game. Diaby, Eduardo and Ramsey are all examples of what you get from encouraging tactics like that. If Carrager, Torres and Gerrard had all had their legs snapped from reckless challenges in less than 4 years, i guess that'd just be life man, huh?
bloody hell. Cesc could it be possible that shawcross is a innocent player but hes just really shi* at tackling other mans? You have to be sympathetic to shawcross as well because it was pretty blatant he was feeling emotional about what he did.

Right now your no better than the irish fans who hung henry dolls outside their pub because they were pissed by what he did.
"he doesnt have that type of reputation",

So as long as I am nice and have all the good manners I can go around chopping down players?

The English media is the biggest load of crap going along with the FA, PL and many of the refs.

Shawcrosses tackle was iffy, but i dont know if it deserved a red card. Ramsey has been playing well, but the league seems to becoming plagued with injuries as things wind down.
What did it deserve if not a red when you fly in like someone stole the last glass of water on earth.

The guy is a blasted caveman and not a footballer but hey, he has that good old english grit, innit?
