Chelsea looked really dull for the entire game.
Typical stoke performance. Hope Mikel's dad is ok.
Man we need a creative playmaker and a wide man (winger). There still is 2 weeks left. We also need to give our younger players more chances, since I see our future squad as a great team (piazon, sturridge, mceachran, van aanholt, courteois, lukaku, bertrand, etockm etc.)
Zzzzzzzzzzzzz Zzzzzzzzzzzzz
i know right this game was so boring. that mistake by de gea and the lucky goal game was thrilling, i still have a boner.

I had a helluva time watching Rooney's hair grow. Twas enjoyable by the entire family.
Torres missed the ball in fifty-third minute, haha that must be a goal!
+2
Yup I enjoyed the miss too. However Torres looked a lot sharper than last year
+1
torres looking sharp to start.
i hate to say this but.. chelsea's stars are getting old. they can't rely on drogba, lampard and terry for a whole lot longer. need to start giving luiz, sturridge and kalou a lot more playing time!
I'm sorry to say this but I think we need quality midfielders, malouda completely lost it, mikel and ramirez are bench players. I have complete faith in Torres, Drogba, Kalou, and Anelka however we need creative midfielder likes of Wesley Sneider or Luka Modic. Mr Abro plz open your checkbook, EPL top teams are reinforcing so should we.
+1
You, have faith in Kalou?!?!? Lol, Kalou is just as lost as Malouda out there. It's like they're running through a maize.
@Reermagaal - astute comments. I think you nay be correct
I thought Kalou are the worst Chelsea players

torres is playing better every game. just needs to score a few goals too
Did anyone notice Kenwyne Jones looking a hell of a lot darker than usual?
YEA EXACTLY
maybe he got a tan? just kidding :P
Yep, I certainly did, on the team line-up screen.
good to see woodgate back in action.

Torres played well. Stoke's keeper was stellar. I can see Stoke finishing top 10 this year.

I didn't like Stokes approach to the game but then again, Chelsea should've pushed much more for a win after all it is in within their range. There was definitely a foul on Lampard as he went down in the box but I believe what put the ref off was that his left foot was already dragging along on the ground, before the touch of the defender as if he was anticipating a foul and decided to take a dive, he could've probably held back a bit more and tried to stay on his feet rather than emphasize the impact of the foul on him, which did backfire.
Ummmm, your description (as well as all video replays) show that Lampard dove.

What is it about Stoke's "approach" you don't like? The part where they can't afford to piss 50 million pounds on individual players, so they actually play like a team with the best role-players in all of EPL?

Stoke play more rugby than football. Is what I think he means. Grabbing jerseys shoving and pushing in the box. Cech got fouled about 4 times on their long throws. It's ridiculous and AVB isn't the first one to complain. Wenger and a couple more managers complain about how they play too.
Not rugby. English football. They're one of the best at it.

"Fouls" are for superstar divers that can't stand on their feet from any challenge or tackle. That's how Stoke play, and it's fair to play rough against them as well. No complaints.

The only teams that play poor or complain about Stoke's style are those not strong enough or lacking the desire that clubs like Stoke have, e.g. soft clubs like Arsenal, etc.

I assure you none of the fouls on Cech were "superstar dive[s]" And most on Torres weren't either. Except when he miss hit. I THINK he may have just said "fek it and fell over". And usually when we have Drogba in we play a lot like Stoke but AVB doesn't like that style so. Were sticking with Torres as our front man.

Torres may have made many of those opportunities, and I give him full credit for that, but man did he miss some great chances.
lady boy looked pretty sharp, best ive seen him play since he left us
+2
I like Torres, even if the move was bad timing and it made him look like an arrogant douche. He still plays well. I'm telling you, long haired Torres ftw. Just ask the Saiyans. :P
