Defoe is sooooo good. So clinical...give him space to run and he will just take it with his stride and you can bet he will lash it into the back of the net. He doesn't mess up!
Ill say both penalties shouldn't have happened and were fairly weak and dives but both were finished well, as for the Stevenage team, what a performance to be in game, I mean they had the cross bar line thing that was close and a couple other chances, would have being sweet if they would have won but I'll give credit to Spurs at home, Defoe's goals were both beauties, he is great at finishing, especially the low first one and 2nd goal of his was good too, and that Bale smash off crossbar was insane how the ball didn't spin at all!
Defoe scored a brilliant goal against United just a few days earlier. These two were superb as well. Quite surprised that he could finish that well with his left foot on the first goal..

Ya, surprised me too how hard he hit it.
Clinical finishing from Defoe

Too often do teams underestimate Bale's passing ability (long balls) and runs.

Defoe and Bale were amazing! How the heck is Tottenham getting voted lucky, they scored 2 great goals, and were awarded an actual penalty due to a bad challange while Stevenage went down over a brush of the foot, he was looking for a penalty and got one, what can ya do.
+3
defoe should start more often if he is to be left on the bench all the time.
I don't think that sentence made sense...

adebayor will score the penalty if he doesnt miss
That is so true, Keefe!

Exactly! Couldn't agree more.
Gareth Bale is insanely good!
We were terrible that game, but we won, thats all that metters, good pay by Stevenage,ad tbf they deserved to go through.
Dear England,

Please start Defoe.
+2
Perhaps not start but he should be on the bench as a sub for sure. Why he's not even being called up, I have no idea.

HE is better than the greedy Sturridge
dont forget about welbeck
dear harry,
please start DEFOE!

Defoe is a great player. He has speed, power and accuracy as well. What he need is a chance to shine in England's national team.

Defoe has a good longshot on him. He's scored alot from outside the box this season. Bale's long throw in's are insane! it's like watching a quarterback.

Cudicini was solid! Amazing backup keeper. Nelsen is lacking in pace and he definitely shouldn't start any league games for us (I'd rather give Uvini a shot), but he can be counted on against weaker opposition.

Lennon probably won't be ready for Everton away but the injury did not look serious, he should be fine.

Defoe has scored the most goals from outside the box this season in the EPL, amazing finisher, one of the best, no doubt.

Cudicini is a great goalkeeper. I hope he's kept between the posts all the way in the FA Cup.
It looks like he will be, which is great for him.
Bale can throw as far as delap. good on spurs for breaking their 2 game losing streak.
