We missed so many chances it could have been an historical result! Still, not exactly pleased with the ref: didn't call a penalty in the 2nd minute against us and I'm not sure if I would call the penalty after Luisão's foul on van Wolfswinkel. Personally, I think he dived, and hate when anyone does it to win a penalty. I was so pissed, my mother was passing by and she thought we had suffered a goal, that's how angry my reaction was! There is no need for this kind of crap...

Still, we deserved to win, it could have easily ended with a 4 or 5 goal difference, the team was outstanding. Benfica didn't perform well, and they need shake the pressure off of them if they want to win anything this season.

Wasn't there another penalty in favour of sporting later on in the game that the refe didn't give? But yeah I agree the refe should have given Benfica that penalty at the beginning of the game and Sporting most likely would have still won. Sa Pinto is smart he know exactly how to stop Benfica tactically by preventing maxi and the wingers from creating dangers attack and that if the used their speed and long balls the could easily get passed Benfica's defence since the midfield left to much space between them and the defence. Its going to be an interesting game next weekend for sure

@Megadragao12, well there was a shove from Garay on van Wolfswinkel, but it was a bit dubious. I think it was a good idea not to give the penalty. You are correct, Benfica didn't play well, didn't take the risks needed to be a title contender...I don't get really...

@Lampuiho, even if at the time, due to the excitment, I would agree with the penalty call, after the match there is no excuse for not analysing the situation in a cool - headed fashion. Support your team, love your team, but don't be an idiot, that's how things role with me ;)!

eu so quero um empate contra o sporting no dragao (se ganharmos fico contente mas um empate ja me chega) lol o empate ja chega para nos decidiremos o campionato na ultima jornada do campionato. se o porto ganhar os outros jogos que restam porque o porto tem costume esta epoca de perder contra os pequenos
