Fantastic comeback from Man U. I love the way Giggs keeps the team kicking. Ferguson seems to have the master touch substitutions these days. Keep up the good work? Michael Owen?? Lets say i dont really like that guy not the guy you would call to change your game but he is really showing effort so i still take off my hat to him . CHICHARITOO!!!!!!!! New sensation in Manchester United. Ferguson deserves all the credit for the way the team is playing this season. Glory Glory Glory Man UTd.

giigs and nani big up !
Great come back from Man u. Cant say Southampton deserve to lose either. They played a very good match against the big club.

Good to see Oen back on the field and scoring a goal

You can simply tell that sir Alex favors Hernandez from Rooney, he just doesn't want to put too much responsibility pressure on Hernandez for now, he is allowing him to take baby steps until he is matured enough to take some serious missions.

Gosh! We could've simply use owen with our poor form. it took some like Alex to understand the value of owen, Rafa with his fat ass didn't even want to hear about him. I don't care if he is injury prone, or he left the club, he was our we should have taken him back... Regardless
It wasn't a great performance, in particular a lot of misplaced passes from Gibson and Anderson but I think the Southampton goal gave united a kick up the backside. We deserved to be losing when half time came round, but the second half was a much complete performance by United. Passing was far more accurate and the movement on and off the ball was good. The first goal was important and it was a nice finish from Owen who always seems to be in the right place at the right time (strikers instinct).

The introduction of Giggs and Nani gave united the impetus to win and once again Ryan Giggs shows why he is arguably one of the best wingers ever seen in the premier league - what an exquiste pass to Hernandez who keeps calm under pressure to slot the ball past the goalkeeper.

Credit to Southampton for making a good game, I would expect to see them in the Championship come May. Well done to United for going through the next round.

P.S Chaplow's finish was quality and I've voted it as the goal of the match!
Fantastic come back by Man U!
Giggs once again proved his quality, while Own and Hernandez
show why SAF believes in them.

i would not trade 3 Andy Carrolls for one Chicharito. And Sir Alex is so dead right about the English transfer market and to think the rumored price for Hernandez was 8 million pounds. As the video says one chance one goal. Rooney better get with it or he will remain on the subs list.

Giggs has been so pivotal in our last 2 games! Still got it in him, even if he's only used as an impact sub. If only he was 10 years younger :(
Mabye Giggs can teach some skills to Bale and then the Welsh team might reach the World Cup in 2018 and 2022
Awesome play from united as usual, they really need a good midfielder like veron ^^
Come on Crawley...
If I had one wish, Giggs would be 24yo forever.

michael owen>wayne rooney

Owen>Rooney as a striker(in past).

As a all-round player , Rooney=Xavi.

LOL ARE YOU KIDDING? Rooney = Xavi???
Okay Garreth Barry = Lionel Messi.

Rooney cannot be compared to Xavi, they're completely different players. Xavi is a great player.

Rooney is unique and dangerous. He hasn't been scoring goals lately but he contributes to plays. Haters will always find something so they can insult him. But they know that they don't want to see Rooney playing against their teams.

Messi is Messi, Xavi is Xavi, and Rooney is Rooney.
You can hate Rooney as much as you want Liverpool fans, we don't care. Watch as he helps us snatch each trophy right under your nose.
