Just to pose a question on the Motta issue, does the fact that he represented Brazil at the 2003 gold cup (and the length of time that the Italy cap has taken to happen) not suggest that had Brazil called him up he would have picked them and Italy only became a consideration because Brazil didn't call? I'm not massively keen on this kind of thing myself but under the rules its perfectly fine.

On Italy in general, I like what Prandelli is doing and even though they don't have some of the star names of the past they are playing well as a team. Naturally I think Cassano is an outstanding player and hopefully now more people will see this.

haha Motta's parents are italian, and grandparents italian. He lives, works, and is a citizen of italy. Yet it is ridiculous to say he is italian?

i think gilberto silva was the last natural destroyer they got,maybe thier new coach can play ramirez on that role altho his best will come whn he play on a more attacking role
