I dont understand, whats wrong with mentioning the topspin? I've never actually heard a female commentator before but I thought she did a pretty good job. There have been some pretty terrible American commentators

The Galaxy really blew this one. Up 3-1 and then they fall apart. Massive game for Beckham for so many reasons. He had a great game until he lost his cool...boy was he heated in San Jose! Great comeback from SJ. I must say though that Cronin was definitely faking it, and should have been carded also.

For me, the offense in the MLS is too direct and the defense is just chaotic. But as far as individual skill from each of the players is at least on the same level of the Belgian or Swiss league.

LOL the commentator says "by a hair he's off" whereas in the REST OF THE WORLD commentators would be yelling "oh dear, he's a mile offside..."

And that really WAS a mile offside, easy call for the linesman...

Nope they would say "Oh dear, he's a KILOMETER offside...", with the exception of british commentators on some occasions. Not to sound like too much of a smart-ass...
