Im realy satisfied with Russia's performance. In games like this its precision and luck that decide who wins, and germany had more precision and luck than russia did. I'm still happy with the team, they have improved their defence by alot (and it was kinda shaky against wales), and their attack is stable. Arshavin is just amazing!

The Russian anthem sounded awesome at this stadion.

It was a big match and Russia really needed to win but it was very close as one nil and maybe even Russia deserved to win. They played well and I give credit to them but I give Germany credit as well because Klose always takes his chances and barely ever misses a lot and that is how Germany won. Russia didn't do the same but played well.

Russia played very well and they should have gotten at least a point. Germany did well to hold off the Russian attacks. Ballack clearly pulled Arshavin down and that should have been a penalty, the referee was right there, he must be blind!

Boateng unlucky, played an amazing U21 euro. Adler, amazing goalie! Next Kahn i would say. Goal was well played. Russia is a great team, gonna qualify for sure!!!

awesome game.. both teams played very well in the game... great plays and chances created by both teams... the best qualifying match lately this year... i noticed that the russian team was very fast in their plays.... from center to both wings.. Arshavin played n amazin role in the russian attack..
germany looked tired in sometimes but they got to win the match.... luvly goal.. great team work....
