Manchester City eliminated from the FA Cup, Carling Cup & Champions League. Wouldn't it be sweet if we yanked the Premiership away from them too? Good game overall. If only Liverpool was able to do this to City in a league match. We need someone to slow them down. Nice to see Stevie G back. I'm sure he'll give Carroll's usually mediocre performance a boost. Great goalkeeping from Reina & Hart too.
what was funny was seeing "the great EPL champions" being eliminated from the champions league group stages
So how are inter doing? 4th place?
Never touch a black man's hair without his permission. Comon charlie adam didn't you learn anything from the 60s? Or Rush Hour?

the next couple of weeks are going to be hard on city.. no toure brothers and no kompany = concede goals
U forgot no David Silva going forward = no goals :)
goal of the week happened in Napoli Palermo game over the weekend
that is not a penalty in my book. minimal contact, and when sabic goes in to the tackle his studs are not up (it's only when his foot is returning to the ground that he catches agger)

*savic
how is that not a penalty?

hitting a knee straight with the studs is no foul? also the ball is far away just a poor tackle

mate im a city fan and i tell you that was a penalty... very immature from savic

some referees even give a red card for stuff like this
great game. City's gotta finish their chances.
good win for liverpool, stevie g always gives them a lift.
Shame Kuyt isnt getting many games anymore
Liverpool... parking the bus... oh boring days!
liverpool winning... happy days!

1st half Liverpool dominance, and they got a goal.

2nd half City dominance and they didnt get a goal.

thats all it really came down to. Liverpool played offence all throughout the first half. They showed what they can do. they had correct me if im wrong 6-8 attempts on goal to Citys 1. When the second half started Kennys plan was not to risk the players fitness and just park the bus wich they did exceptionally.. They defended very well. City are not to blame for not winning. Liverpool were the better team overall.

City first half/second half rating 3/8
Liverpool first/second half rating 8/7

Why are there so many Arsenal fans being so negative about Liverpool on here? Every page has a few comments from Arsenal supprters being bitter about something. Maybe they just have the youngest fans, who just feel like trolling.

Listen, what's the point of coming in here and busting our chops about Johnsons tackle? It was the refs decision, we didn't make it. Get over it.

It isn't really having a go at jonhson. just speaking more of a consistency in refereeing.

and also wanna justify, what dangerous tackle is.

2nd half: "Liverpool used selfdestruct.....but it failed"

When ever Liverpool meet Man City, it always reminds me of Germany vs Spain.
The Power vs Finesse.
Anywho, It was a cool game, an honest one.
Carrol wasn't that bad, just a little unfortunate.
Joe Hart once again proving why he is England's number 1
Lovely game.
