you're right mate.......
they should sell him, while he's still worth something.
Not Cech's best match. Torres still sucks though. How is he still on the pitch?
Good to hear that Rafa is going to leave Chelsea. If Jose Mourinho returns to Chelsea then I'll be happy as we can see the return of MU - Chelsea rivalry again.
oh!! come on mate. out of respect for Man United, how could u call chelsea a rival.. they do not deserve that tag. Man United vs Bolton is a more worthy contender for that "rival" title, greater manchester derby/rivals. United with ur class are contenders, chelsea with their money are pretenders.

This from a Liverpool fan??

And Liverpool without any class and money are justpure Shitt..!!

You can just put about any manager in at CFC, after six months, the job is impossible! or the triggerhappy russian or the fans ..
Ake from the academy looks a quality player...

Well played by Chelsea nice to get a clean sheet :]
chelsea should try oscar or hazard more on mata's position..... for the past 5 games mata is been ineffective and spent too much time turning around without making any effort to push the ball foward....watch the pass oscar gave to hazard we need more of that. against prague and city mata did not make a single pass to the striker and to me this is unacceptable....
When the striker is Torres... but I aggree he is out of form
Rafa finally realises he's getting sacked in the summer o_O

dude.... why would you say that?
Joe Daki is that you?
.
Chelsea's midfielders take a big part of the blame. They lack that passer that can give through balls for Torres to run onto. He can't play with his back to defenders...too weak. At the same time Torres takes much of the blame too. He's missed tons of chances this season that he would have burried four years ago. Against Sparta last week he had 4 chances to score and didn't convert one. He's just not the same anymore. Sheva was already past 30 when he joined Chelsea. I forget how Crespo's time was there.

Confidence in front of goal and pace are his problems now. I'm sure the mids play a part in not finding the right through-ball for him. But overall, I would say mazcars work has been cut out by the frontman's finishing.
We do have plenty of great passers with Mata, Oscar, Hazard and Lampard but Torres has lost his touch and I think he is broken mentally and I'm sad to say that it would be best for everyone if he left the club.
I am very happy to see Torres celebrating the goals when we score. It's great to see that he is still a happy person...even with all the vitriol he's received in recent times.

yes that is especially heartwarming considering he used to be one of the world's best strikers
Torres has a beautiful caring wife and two lovely children waiting at home. Plus he earns almost GBP200,000 per week. Of course he is happy.
@travisbickle LOL! i think men take a greater deal of pride in what they do for a living (and what other people label them as a career man) more than how much money they actually make or how beautiful their wives are... if not, there wouldn't be so many cases of acute stress or suicide among famous celebrities or football stars

lol you see why your torres cant score? its how chelsea play their game...
he has seldom been given the chance to shoot, he receives too few balls... all your midfielders keep dribbling the ball forward, ignoring him even when he is in a good position, and by the time your midfielders are inside the box, torres has already moved away to the side... no wonder when he does finally get the ball, he's already in a difficult position as he is not a winger-type of player.... at the end he looks like a dork and most of chelsea's goals are scored by your midfielders....

the same thing happened to crespo and shevchenko....

I totally agree with you Theatre, nice analysis. There was a chance Oscar had there and he could easily have fed torres but he ran with the ball. I think if Torres goes to a different team e.g. Atletico Madrid, he will really do well.
Maybe, but he has choked in a few really easy situations though. I think we should keep him for one more year.
how the team play is not affecting torres...the issue is torres has no confidence anymore....as a striker u need to settle down and eliminate ur obstacle before shooting but torres does;t do that..
Bullshit theatre, bullshit, Chelsea have never had as good passers of the ball as they do now or as creative a midfield as they do now. When Drogba was in Chelsea, he was all alone almost all the time, he would hold the ball up for Lamps to shoot and then he'll get his goals. Torres sucks and he cant blame that on the Chelsea midfield.
How did Torres not bury that 1 on 1 chance? He had acres of space but his first touch took the ball away from the goal. Wonder why Ba isn't playing more than him.
Its because Ba is cup tied in Europa League and FA Cup, Cuz New Castle played in FA Cup and Plays in Europa League.
i dont blame Rafa for letting out at the fans. regardless he wins or loses games hes gone at the end of the season, so why mess with his head? theyre just f*****g with the mind thats suppose to be in charge of winning them games..

let me put it in terms some of yall would understand..

ive got cash and if i pay the smartest kid in my class to do my homework and he started it and half way through his mother forbid him from helping me.. so i get another kid in the class capable of doing my homework.. not as smart but still decent, Im not going to constantly be telling this kid hey the guy i had before you is the best. only he could do my homework correctly, you suck! your useless, your a virus, im going to get an F because you dont know what your doing.. I mean wtf?
+7
this isnt you paying some kid to do your homework, this is football.
+2
i guess your saying even in laymans terms you dont understand my point,

Pukaki is right, this is football. Homework is far more important.

Chelsea had better done their homework before kickin' out RDM
His frustration is just but he just joined under wrong circumstances. If i was Benitez and with his history, i would have never accepted the job!
Benitez knew what he was getting himself into when he signed the contract.
Benitez knew he was interim manager when he signed his contract.
Benitez knew we didnt want him when he signed his contract.

He should concentrate more on his tactics, team selection and his laughable substitutions.
does he expect us to be happy when hes take oscar off (our best player) and replaces him with benayoun? or when you dont play terry against manchester city?

the sooner he leaves our great club the better.

Need I remind you, away against Sparta we were drawing 0-0, he takes off Mata brings on Oscar and he scores within seconds. Again against Sparta at the brige 0-1, the game on a knife edge; brings on Hazard and he gets the decisive goal. So not all his decisions have been terrible.
