Barcelona have 70% of possession and still lose 3-2. Real Sociedad, on the other hand, have 30% possession and pull off twice the number of shots on target.

Not to be overly critical, but Pique made a couple of mistakes that lead to the loss. The first goal, PIque comes off his line, runs past Puyol and tries to head the ball, misses it, that forces alves to push left, and leaves Castro open. The second was his first yellow card, very stupid. Then he becomes more stupid by tackling like that. All pro players can't be perfect, but Pique's head wasn't in this game. Good lesson, and wake up call for the team though!

pique isn't that great a defending. he barely defends anyway. he probably spends more time watching the ball being passed around and passing him self than actually defending... most of the time hahaha

I told my friend after the Malaga draw that I'm glad Barcelona didn't win this one because it brings back a reality check to the team. I'd rather have them lose a game or two in January and bring the team back to earth rather than have them lose a game or two in the CL or CDR. Like they say, "Its not over until its over." Just because Barca had a record breaking season doesn't mean other teams will just lie down and let them walk all over them.

This is the 2nd time in a row, Barca played with complacency in the 2nd half. Sociedad did have a bit of luck running for them. Apart from the two shots that hit the bar, there were other chances as well. But you do need some luck to beat Barca and Soceidad played like their lives depended on this game.
