Madrid's defense was not shoddy, it was quite exemplary actually, only a loss of concentration twice lead to two very stupid goals for Milan. It was just one of those games where no matter how well u play u wont win because luck is not on your side. Madrid will easily do the job at San siro if both teams play exactly like they did today.

Great game to watch, very entertaining. But mistakes from both keepers, Dida dropped the ball and Casillas failed to get the ball when he came out against Pato. But great second goal from Pato on the volley and great cross.
Amazing goal from Pirlo, world class. Milan deserved to win.

Doesn't take away the fact that he went out of his goal to get it, so he should get it. Even worse, he didn't even seem to be running towards the ball, he completely misjudged the ball's trajectory

i'm starting to doubt that casillas is really world class. i understand dida's error, it happens to even the best, but casillas' was just dreadful. its either you stay in goal & hope for the worst while doing your best to keep the ball out, or you come out & get something on the ball. he didn't do either.

two mistakes led to two goals by pato ac milan didn't play great they just did enough to capitalise on madrids mistakes second leg will be a different kettle of fish madrid need only to draw oh and ronaldinho looks like a ex player
