typical pathetic answer from inter fan..
Real are a great team, it was a hard enough challenge as it is.. especially with 10 men. Tottenhams first championsleague since 62 and making it to the quarterfinals is quite an achievement..
look at inter last year.. same players this year.. pathetic outcome.. was only pure luck they beat FCbayern and made it to the quarter-finals. Inter have great players and still play terrible.. thats a bad team for you.

spurs now have the time to concentrate on taking over Man city who are fourth on the table and 5 points away. Spurs must qualify for next season Champions League or as risking losing top players such as Rafael van Der vat,Gareth bale and Luka Modric!!!So go for it and take the fourth place from city SPURS

This is a blessing in disguise for spurs.. now they can concentrate on finishing 4th in the prem for qualification for next years CL, rather than pretending they ever had a chance in this tie or the later stages of this tournament.

sergio romas shud've gote a yellow for his tackle on bale. crouch is an idiot for getting himeself sent of and there's no doubt it warranted a second yellow but marcelo's reaction wasnt great to celebrate the way he did after crouch's sending off anywho RM are throuogh i see tottenham getting a couple of goals but real will also score. good win but i think it would've be different if crouch didnt get redcarded with that being said madrid wouldve still won.

I dont understand why people said Marcelo caused Crouch to get a red card. Are you annoyed that Marcelo did not get injured, will that have made the second yellow worth it. That was a useless tackle any day . he definitely deserved a second yellow.

Mourinho may be heavy on the bank account but man that guy can make a team tick on champions league night. Harry Redknapp was getting too cocky for me anyways. You can never win any major competition with assou ekoto as ur left back.

Peter Crouch was very very stupid to make those tackles. Spurs need to work on their defence. if not they will not make it back to the champions league at a time. Manchester city has definitely distanced themselves from them in quality.

And last of all guys Remember to stay on your feet.

The problem with Peter Crouch is when he goes down into a slide tackle, he's like a baby giraffe sliding on a bananna skin, it's pretty ugly... but not ugly enough to warrant a red.

i feel sorry for crouch man...first one was a yellow...2nd one was a foul too but he went for the balll and marcelo made a meal of it...the way he celebrated after i would have loved to kick him in the face...crouch is a good guy this doesnt happen often to him.

I reckon if he got the red before it was 1-0 tottenham would have played better but that just deaded them losing 1-0 getting a red...they shoulda just defended after man it would have been easier next leg for them. Anyways Gomez is s**t he could have atleast tried to save adebayors 2nd header...marias goal was class defence should have donee better and 4th goal butter fingers gomez.

2ND LEG TURN ON BALE MODE VS INTER and Real will have a problem.

hahahahahahaha. i would be very disappointed if u epl fans said anything diff. 2nd leg turn on bale mode this ain't FIFA 11. this is R.Madrid in CL MODE 2011 u really think real will let totenham beat them 5-0 they sure ain't barca and i doubt that barca can repeat that performance again against us. when u guys attack as u surely have to we'll counter and after that happens u'll be climbing a razor blade mountain NAKED!!!!!

Yeah sky sports commentary is just bad as ITV with andy townsend. I rather listen to the commentary in arab just to hear that guy go "ALLLLAAAH, WALLLAAAH GOOOOOAL!".
