very lucky goal.... hard to get a win without Jose
I think Benzema should play where Higuain plays now. Higuain seems to me over-rated. He missed too many chances.
+1
Agree...nice poach though. Higuain hangs around...but is not an accurate striker...
I agree that its Benzema's turn, but Higuain def is not overrated. So he misses chances, he's an exceptional striker and others have missed more. His skill set sets him apart from other strikers... can't really compare him to other strikers. Benzema needs a real chance up front.

thank you he not overrated but benzema need a chance
agreed!!!!!!!!!!!
Soccer can be so unfair sometimes.
?
can't wait 'till el clasico

Thought Real deserved it, they just didn't finish their chances particularly well and Juan Pablo made some good saves. Having said that it was a scruffy winner and Sporting Gij贸n had their chances, they will feel unfortunate not to have a point.

As people on TV say time and time again, its winning games like these that make championship winners, although I think ultimately El Cl谩sico will decide where the title goes because both teams are outstanding.
any one see casillas catch that ball of paper? awesome cat-like reflexes haha

real madrid rule
real game was boring ....sporting gijon were just unlucky
Who cares they will win the League like this All that matters lol
why did you watch it?
+3
Yes! Exactly...with all the games on why watch one that is boring...
+1
boring or not its still a win no matter what the score at the end of the end of the match is, there are just the icings of the cake if a team do win
Good yet hard win for madrid. Great work from Benzema since he came on the pitch. he should play more and really can make a difference.

Fifa and Uefa really should consider preparing more tests for eye sight for the linesmans cx this is really getting annoying.
Had to work hard for that win. but to be champions you gotta pass these hurdles. Gonzalo should have made the hattrick, and we rode our luck a little, but great cross goal assist by Karim and easy touch in for Gonzalo. Bring on Bilbao!..

are you Dinamo or madrid?? i f*****g hate split fans
Split fans... its just that you have your favorite in every league/country youre interested in. Whats the problem about it? Im also for Real because my favourite player Mesut 脰zil plays for them, but actually Im a Werder Bremen fan, the club he used to play for. So what? :P

Why doesn't Madrid just buy Barca And put the whole team on the bench lololol

looool well done ac milan nice game vs inter
i see real madrid winning the classico, barcas hardest opponent so far has been villareal while our hardest opponent was milan who we destroyed in the 1st leg and tied in the 2nd. Milan are the best team in italy now while villareal is like 3rd in spain.
+2
real madrid > milan
milan beat inter so
milan > inter
and barca struggled bad against inter
inter > barca

so real madrid > milan > inter > barca

Dude, this sort of logic does not work in football. What you're saying is that because scissors beat paper and paper beats rock then scissors beats rock? Not only is it inaccurate but it's also glaringly simplistic. If things were that plain in Football, it wouldn't be the beautiful game anymore. Any team can beat any other team over one game because things happen, bad referee calls, luck, etc(cf look at Chelsea today). And even if Madrid beat Barca in the classico, a very elusive if at that, wouldn't it be about time after 4 unsuccessful classicos and a shopping basket the size of texas?
+6
im a madridista but ure right about the criticism, that kinda logic does not work in football, el classico for the most part has always been more psychological than what team has been on form and i feel if we beat them now we can start our own classico winning streak and send those catalans back where they belong....behind madrid
+2
What a Fool (Milan Cant beat Barca) ... Yh I said it
Its funny how everyone is putting down RedNgreen on his logic but that's how the betting sites do it. LOL. It's all about Stats, team performance comparison with each other and points acumulated...go for it redNgreen. your absolutely righ buddy..
wow in football anything can happen. if we do by statistics baeca beat real 4 straight times. so barca champions this year again
+1
destroyed?? ... No milan fan said that last year we showed you respect but i guess that madrid for you >>> Sack of s**t
Katana, betting sites only think about one thing, and one thing only, and that is taking your money. Would you trust a whore who is in need a fix?
El84oro, totally agree with you. Football games and classicos of this magnitude are won psychologically.
lol what kind of logic is that? alcorcon beat madrid and madrid beat milan hence alcorcon > milan? that doesnt work in football mate
+1
nice (sort of) analysis but as they(some people) say, the ball is round and anything can happen. Well said dude Et
Real Madrid had a FAIR game, Sporting were playing a very rough game and they couldn't keep it to the last minute. Benzema is now a GREAT card to play when in need! he keeps proving himself game after game! I'm glad pipita got to score because he deserved a goal in the game.

another SOLID performance, you can't expect us to beat everyone by at least 4 goals, you must treat each game differently today's game was TOUGH; Iker showed up big time in the late save, to save Real 2 points.

PS: I don't think barcelona fans have anything to argue here; you barely beat them at the camp nou (1-0) with their B-team.

and gijon played with no desire to win, in this game they went all out tackling like crazy just to show mourinho he was wrong

Redngreen you are by far the stupidest person i ever saw typy we beat milan milan beat inter bal bla bla what the hell are u alking about how old are 5 am guessing u dont know anything about football ... Real madrid a pathetic yet again another last 5 min winner typically mourinho style what a boring game you guys are just a bunch monkeys who like real cause there realy i watched real play what we call real football long time ago now its amusing to see idots kick the ball around ...heres how it goes mournihos keeps winning last minute winner with a defensive approach probaly gonna win u guys some titles then youre stupid board are gonna fire him for the studpidest reasn like they did with the last 15 coaches and u guy will be back ur old ways ... maybe buy some random players with 150 million this time good luck ;)
boring? barca style is ticky tacky boring s**t keep away, real madrid have the most goals scored in la liga so up yours farca
+2
redngreen what barca have u been wachting..is the opposite real madrid are boring
rednereen is a pure idot ... you havent been wtaching fotball the past 5 years ? barca play the most beautiful and most attacking football in the world thts why they have 8 players in a team which european and world champion are you dumb or blind
only a madrid fan will call barca boring
n only a barca fan will call madrid boring
u see, rivals hate each other. Thats why you people keep insulting(sort of) each other. To me, both teams are equally good, or sometimes one of the two is slightly better than the other. U see, both teams play are awesome, n winning by a mere fraction or losing in a few games or even many terribly(chelsea) does not prove anything about about the team (for example Newcastle back in the 2006/2007 season). I am looking forward to the El Classico too for that reason, two teams with great plays are bound to give a good fight. So all of u, just seal ur mouth n think twice before commenting on good teams playing bad. (Its an oxymoron(maybe I used it wrongly))Anyway, I think Barca is also a excellent team and I have to agree with all of u Barca fans that they are one of the world's top or the top. Keep up the good performance both teams, this BBVA LALIGA season is going to be interesting
good win and a good game from benzema he should play more
+1
lack of creativity? Kaka? LOL!! Don't get me wrong here. Kaka WAS a very good player but he is SH!T now. Don't think he will do much damage after gone for so long. In fact, Real Madrid can sell him next year. If he's really that special, why barcelona won everything during Kaka spells in Real Madrid? He isn't that special and I think he's over-rated not like most people think so highly of him
+1
i agree ozil is pure magic, gijon played very physical today to the point that they where lucky they didnt get red cards until that one in the end.
i still think kaka has something left i mean i dont see how a player can jus loose it in one swoop. although, if im to be honest kaka's last good season in football was when milan won the champions league back in 07.
Kaka was good and I believe he is still good now, Morinho didnt really giv him a chance to prove himself this season, just like how Benzema shock everyone after a not so good season last year. BTW, WES, soccer consists of 11 per side not one, Kaka's season last year was Ok, relatively good but one player just cant do everything, its just not possible. despite all that said, I agree with RED that Ozil is still all roundedly better than Kaka
