I really expected Rangers to do better the game seemed to go....

Difficult game to analyse unless you watched the full 90 minutes, nothing really went our way but the defending was abysmal at times. Unlucky to concede the own goals and unlucky to miss the penalty but the lack of cutting edge and real lack of resolve meant we deserved to lose... but to this many goals?

Real downer for Gers fans after the Old Firm, especially the news about Pedro about Bougherra. Nonetheless, an opportunity to show we have what it takes to grind out results and tally points with our backs to the wall.

Anyone who is taking this as an opportunity to bash Rangers/Scottish football should take a reality check and set their prejudices aside. Only 2 seasons ago, Rangers made it to the UEFA Cup final which is an awful lot further than what most English teams manage in the said competition. I doubt many of you actually watched this match and I seriously doubt you watch much Scottish football so keep your unfounded, narrow-minded opinions to yourselves.

After the poor display at the weekend v St.Johnstone i'm not really surprised Rangers lost this fixture, thank god the Old Firm in still in recent memory and thank god Celtic lost tonight! :)
