Nani and Simao , will once again have to step up against Bosnia. The formation of 4-2-3-1 suits them. They have to continue holding the possesion. As long as the back four dont make mistakes, Portugals quality (even without Ronaldo) will come to fruition.

I would like to see

GK - Eduardo
DF - Bosingwa, Carvalho, Pepe, M. Valoso
DM - Meireles, P. Mendes *again he played good last game, but coach might opt for B.Alves)
Wingers - Simao and Nani
At. Mid. - Deco
St. - Liedson

If they go behind take out a DM and add a striker (Almeida, N.gomes)
If Ronaldo was in , he would play striker and brin on Nani on the wing. GL PORTUGAL :)
Nani has a lot of talent, but he takes the team as a whole down... he needs better vision. And i too think they look better without their superstar.
I know I'm going to spark some debate but Portugal actually look better without Youknowwho. I also don't think Nani is not as good as everybody says. For all the shots he takes he fails to see the open man. And many of his shots are wild. Granted he scores goals but what is his average shot per goal ratio. It must be close to 10 shots per goal.
awesome game
Portugal
that was just an easy match for Portugal..Malta just couldn't control the ball at all
Nani looked pretty good. I hope SAF doesn't give up on him. But then again, it is not hard to look good against Malta.
Portugal played a good game. They actually seemed liked they played like a team, but u have to remember they played Malta which is not considered to be a powerhouse when they are ranked 146 . As for Nani, he has always been a very good player with a great kick but he is inconsistent. If he can change that he can be one of the better players in the game
i hope portugal finally gets an actual centre forward to put in goals..
hmm they must winn malta is bad
Intense match, no doubt about the win, Portugal were u against a weak team and they need to win this to have a chance to qualify, no doubt they played their hearts out.
There's something about Nani.
that still seems to be suppressed, agreed? i like his desire to play different
I hope Portugal will do this in the play-offs... don't want a WC without CR
nice goal by Nani!!
me being a united fan never saw Nani playing continuous for United..but in this game Nani had proved what he is in actual...i think Ferguson should test him by bringing him in a few couple of games...i think he gonna prove something like Ronaldo in future...anyways great game but still in every forum I'll say Spain are favorites for the world cup
unfortunately for your optimism
every time i have seen nani play he has consitently let down the entire team
nani was grrrreeaaatttt
