I didn't see the game but I was wondering if Portugal plays better without Ronaldo. Seeing as they won this won and had struggled beforehand.
They did play better. Ronaldo set up the first Simao goal before getting subbed for an ankle injury. A bit fragile at times but still the stronger more persistant side with much more class than Hungary.

Simao was good and overall an excellent performance from the Portuguese, they deserved to win and it was good play by them all throughout. Hungary were out played by the team in red and I think that has gien them a bit more stability and confidence to qualify for the World Cup. They will probably just qualify. They are a good team especially there as we saw:)
What happened to once great Hungarian team... Fall from grace... I thought they would knock Portugal out. Seems like Portugal will hang on to 2nd place since Sweden lost to Denmark.
