Heluva strike from that Pop Star. I'll admit that I don't like him much, but you can't fault his work-rate. I noticed that he was a cool customer after picking up that yellow card. We didn't see his trade mark whining so much and I could actually enjoy the game more. He's learning, good for him :)

I'm not a big fan of Portugal and don't rate their chances much past the last 16 but I do think it's a real shame that Nani's out of the world cup. Just as he seemed to be hitting some form too..

Nani has really impressed me in the past year, especially after that goal against Arsenal.

Its true...Ronaldo scored so much at Man Utd only because the team gave him the best support. much like rooney is receiving at the moment...however Messi creates most of his chances in which barca has benefited from this year, this makes him the better player. but still doesnt change the fact i like Ronaldo more cuz his solo goals are more entertaining :)

Good performance by Portugal this time round. Another African team I'm not expecting too much from, I seriously don't believe this is going to be "their world cup" in terms of how far they get. But I guess taking into account their best player left the pitch in the first half, it was ok.

Nani's scored the best goal I've seen in all these friendlies. Reminds me of playing FIFA 2010.

Very nice game by Portugal...Ronaldo sucks, he is a sissy and thinks too much of himself, Nani, Deco, Raul Meireles, Almeida, and the defense will carry the team far, not that garbage ronaldo
