Torres is a ghost.. Should have stayed in Liverpool, G-Unit.
WESTBROM NEEDS A GOALIE
Chelsea have started to wake up and not waste chances for three points. West Brom killed themselves by being lazy on all three goals with either poor marking or poor clearances. Drogba was impressive and really has started to come along... now if only he started against Man Utd. Odenwinge scored again and has started to come into his own. I can easily see this guy get a decent deal this summer by mid club team.

Where is Torres?

He's that confused-looking fellow on the pitch. You know, the one that can't find the back of the net.

Did someone fart in Carlos eye?
Drogba's still amazing, Torres could never replace him
+3
Torres wasn't brought to replace him

well they're still pretty condifent of selling drogba for some reason, i duno if it's a rumor, but ferguson might make an offer for him, i'd hate to see him leave chelsea, but if he does i hope he destroys them
Barca is pretty beatable side if they are minus messi.... hope to see that soon too.
spain are an amazing side and they dont have messi.
There's a big difference between domestic and international football. you can't even equate the spain squad against Barcas squad. eventhough 60% of the spains players play for Barca
for better or worse chelsea has seem to go as didier drogba has gone..mourinho left and it had an adverse affect and after grant as a stopgap manager scolari came on board. Drogba and Scolari were reportedly not speaking to each other at one point and the club were miring in the league and Champions League. Scolari got the can and Goose was brought in and he turned Chelsea around while letting Drogba loose. Carlo had seem to help keep his form going all of last year. Then he was out of the lineup for a solid amount of time this season due to a late diagnosis of malaria. Now, he's played second fiddle to one of the most painful goal slumps of all time and the team has suffered for it. I always know that they are capable of providing a performance like they have here but the story of the season will be that they couldnt play like this consistently and when it mattered the most.

if someone else has already made this point im sorry i havent been on FT in a while!

thanks
keeper for west brom is rubbish
u are talking rubbish....
his defence was sleeping for all of those goals ..
Torres has been 'coming back' for well over a year now. The last time he looked consistantly fearsome in front of goal was against Hull City where he had his hat trick.

He will probably be dangerous once again, true, but what is his first goal going to prove? Nothing.

He needs to carry Chelsea for the rest of the season to make up for the investment. He needs to be scoring pluralities of goals in next years CL to be worth anything for Chelsea.

Liverpool fans and staff have made excuses for him for a loooong time, and now I see all the hopeful excuses by the Chelsea faithful. I said he probably will be back, and he will probably have 2 really good seasons before he retires (Like Drogba last year did) but he may just continue to be all flash and no bang. Too bad, I used to really like the guy.

At least he's not some mischievous yahoo always in the tabloids for his off pitch antics. I also hope the stress of not scoring is not putting undue stress on his relationship with his family.

great game and some great goals, overall im happy... but im sorry to say that i have still scored the same amount of goals for chelsea as fernando torres has which shows how bad he is da guy is absolute crap n a waste of good money/ chelsea should have bought both asamoah gyan and lucas podolski with dat big amount of money__smh!!!

Ashley Cole never ceases to amaze me.

he aint as good as people make out

ain't that the truth. his form this past season really has fallen from already average standards
West Brom couldn`t deal with Chelsea's offensives on the left wing in the 1st half
as much as i hate the guy he's pretty f*****g good.
