On the overly-physical play from Philly..."This is a men's world, and this is how the men play," Novak said. What a meathead! He also had the nerve to talk smack about Freddie Ljungberg. Has this guy seen in Prem League or World Cup action? NO, Piss off Novak!

That game could have easily had a greater outcome for the sounders. Good game but they still have some work to do. Philly put up a good fight but I really don't think their "lets beat everyone on the field up" tactic is going to work for them very well. Nowak is a chump. His comments were way out of line. Accept the loss.

Yea I agree. It was very good to hear Sigi say "We are capable of much better football" in a post-match press conference. Makes me excited to see how bad we will own the league once we hit top form. I think the physical style of Philly was from pure frustration, could have easily been more cards for them. What did Novak have to say? (where did you read it)

BIG UPS to my SOUNDERS! Excellent game to start the season with. Took control early and didn't let up. Can't wait to catch a match or 5 when i get back to the states. SSFC TIL I DIE!!
