Mexico's not at full strength...this is a U22 squad...injuries, prostitutes and drugs have hurt the strength of this team...

Peru's playing without Pizarro, Farfan, Zambrano, Ramirez, and Merino among others, all players lost to INJURIES, not stupidity. Besides that, half of our starting players are 25 or younger and haven't played much for the national team before this tournament. Despite these difficulties we've managed to pull ahead thanks to the discipline and sporting attitude Markarian has brought to the side. Sure it's still early, but at this rate Peru is on its way to qualification for Brazil 2014

Mexico's roster ain't exactly the same as the one during the Gold Cup. So, that's not easy for the coach to adapt and deal with the absence of some key players. The next game against Uruguay will be tough. But anything can happen though.

horrible game from mexico, but really no one really cares about this sub 22 that got together in a manner of days. sad but true..maybe next copa america CONCACAF will let us actually compete and not make ourselves look like a total joke like we are right now.

Nope, The Mexican federation was willing to send an A squad but CONCACAF made it a rule for this copa america that if any concacaf team was gonna compete it would be a Sub 22 (Costa rica is in this copa america and concacaf made them send a sub 22 as well).

you people know that this is the u22 of mexico and even then the original u22 team had 8 players suspended along with the players that were not allowed to participate in this cup then you know this is the D team of mexico. In the last copa america mexico got 3rd place :)

@Matt612346 you are right nut he is playing becuase Tottenham gave him permission to play in this tournament,since Tottenham want to get rid of him what better way than to show what he can do (Gold Cup & Copa America) hoping he goes to La Liga

As if dos Santos makes suuuuch a massive difference. The guys isn't an all round number 10, he just adds flair to the side. But a side without a backbone is useless and that's what we're seeing here.

This is the actual level of mexico... they are only under the spot light cuz they qualify to world cup and take part in different championships due to competing in weak continental groups... put them in south america or africa and they will reach world cup every blue moon !

lol no not at all. mexico have proved that they can get very far in copa america before and have beaten many south american teams (paraguay being not that long ago), don't base mexico's level of football with this C team and a coach who has never even worked with youth before.
