You're so right! I was waiting for Nakamura to come in... and it was so sad when he didn't! That last play would have worked with Shunsuke in the game, I just know it!

yeah, but the problem is that shunsuke is better off playing as an offensive midfielder, not a right winger (Matsui is much more better and faster)
If it was him during the good celtic times, then its a different story
oh well, i hope he keeps his form at marinos, he might get called back again :)

Both team are awful and not good game to watch but overall Paraguay were better side and they deserve to win. Matsui's shot was close.

letting the right back komano to take the kick was a mistake! somehow i had the feeling he would miss the penalty kick when he stepped up. they still have nakamura kengo on the line up. i believe he would scores with no problem.but cant blame anyone though, penalty shoot out is all about luck... and composure.
anyways, well done to japan. i see bright future ahead for Japan.
