Great win for Real madrid with great goals, Benzema 1st goal was intense, great cross and volley smash! It was great but Ronaldo's 1st was a huge smash from way far out that was a beautiful goal and great to see, the rest were nice as well.

Well said MattOsh24. I'm sick of this debate, both are amazing players and it doesn't make sense that you have to like one and hate the other. We should all be thankful that we get to watch each play each week. One performs and the other equals or exceeds, simply amazing. They bring out the best in each other.

Man, one week Ronaldo is the greatest, the next week Messi is the greatest. Why so many flip-floppers? Messi is in another galaxy but Ronaldo's goal is supreme. And yea we all know Messi couldn't rip a shot from that far back but Ronaldo can't dribble a whole team effortlessly. Each player has their strengths and weaknesses. I just think Messi has more to offer to a team and I think his football IQ of when to pass, shoot, dribble is far superior to Ronaldo. Just my opinion.

They're both brilliant and both arrogant, and this isn't meant to be an argument or anything, more food for thought...
But I honestly think if Messi didn't play for Barcelona he wouldn't be as dominant as he is now. That entire team is built around making Messi comfortable, allowing him to completely dictate (not dissing it, it's clearly working!). Ronaldo has already proven himself in the English Premier League which is a very different style of competition (not saying better, but very different), it would be interesting to see how Messi would go if he were to move there, probably never going to happen, but it would be interesting.
But like I said, they're both brilliant players, love watching them both play equally as much
