In the news
What a corrupted League, refs get their " Bonus " for their game and security didn't do anything to stop the fireworks and smoke....
is it just me but does this game seem like the refs were bribed in someway to let olympiakos to win? i mean there was a clear handball in the box but no penalty, panathinaikos had a clear goal but some how was called offside when there is a guy clearly on the goal line, and the last goal for olympiakos was clearly offside. idk but it seemed like that to me. anyone else get that feeling?
+1
i have the same feeling but first i'd like to comment your poor football rules knowledge >> handball can't be given if player kicks the ball to his own hand. your second point is corrent in one way - it was no offside. however, the player on the line is not the most important. you have to watch penultimate player and it was the one on the opposite side of the goal area so anyway - the scorer was not offside.
you are correct in the decisive goal - it was even double offside. the player who scored was in offside when his team mate headed the ball to him and the second player distracted view of the goalie when the shot was taken. so there two reasons to disallow the goal.
thus, in my opinion the referees were clearly bribed. nothing new in greek anarchy.
thanks for showing the most striking scenes, for greek television didn`t even broadcast a replay on panas absolut regular 2nd goal... in addition to the refused penalty in the first half and a clear offside winner for piräus - at least the world got a little taste of what greek football is all about (and how referees perform if olympiakos is about to loose a match ...)
Can someone tell me where for f..ck sake were SECURITY on the Gates looking! You can't call it a game, Constant threat to PAO goalkeeper, pressure on Refs.. bloody'ell! Complete b******s!
if u didnt realise the refs werent pressured they were paid or really scared and i know cause i was there
I wonder what you think the word "pressure" means.
That goal was not an offside - apparently they stole Pana's win. Pity!
It's all about money in Greece!
