especially from the man u, chelsea and arsenal fans. also that guy who supports norwich. howay the canaries!! ( and stevie fry )
Sholaaaaaa! Who else?
toons going gr8
Ba might have actually been lucky that he didn't make stronger contact with the ball. Friedel had both his hands by his body and would've deflected the shot had it been stronger. Instead, it stuck in his midsection and he couldn't get it out in time.
what a great gosl by Shola Ameobi!!!
Get in the Toon- unbeaten still!
Newcastle had a brilliant start this season...but I believe United still can beat then 1-0 or 2-0 next time when we faces Newcastle which is Owen's former club :D
brilliant goals!
Nice performance from both, Newcastle really had impressive start in this season, still unbeaten same as MU~~
great
newcastle really are starting t impress however totenham need to sort out that back line ad bring back that brazilian goalkeeper because this yank called friedal is just not cutting it he is way past it and is not premier league standard if he is leaking goals like my kicthen sink if he had not played tottenham would have won comfortable. god bless.
Critizising Friedel because of this game? Why do you think Spurs got him in the first place? He has shown a more than great performance so far this league. Gomes last season was dreadful in the EPL and in the CL. If it wasn't for him, spurs might have actually had a more realistic shot at competing for a title.
Friedel isn't in his prime all right but no way is he that bad as you claim he is.

The one good thing the U.S is good for in the Football world is they can produce decent Goal Keepers. Casey Keller, Friedel, Howard. Friedel has 1000x more experience than Gomes. Gomes needs to work on his basics and he'll be okay.
Brad Guzan you forgot.

HowDidThisStart, did you miss that ridiculous save he made against Tiote? Tell me how many goalkeepers could've made that. Strong candidate for Spurs save of the season.

When has he been leaking goals? He has been tremendous, if you don't watch our games (which I don't expect you to), don't make uninformed comments about our keeper. He could've done nothing about the second goal. Perhaps he could've kept the first out but it would've been very hard for him too. He's a really good keeper, I forget how many consecutive starts he's made in the PL, I think it's for over two seasons. He doesn't get played that often for no reason...

good game
I am liking Newcastle more and more now that Joey Barton is gone. Exciting match.

Awesome game! Although Defoe needs to learn to pass. Tottenham DEFO . . . would have won had he done so . . .
He also scored a great goal, so you can't really blame him. Also, Adebayor also missed a few good passes. We also would've won had we not been forced to play Livermore in midfield, he was completely bullied by Tiote. If King hadn't left at the half-hour, that would've helped us a lot as well. Defoe was the least of our problems.
keep it up u TOONS :)
