Did you hear? the boy is honest, he clearly said " i saw harper off his line, weather someone was going to head it in or the ball goes straight into the back of the net..etc "
Cleverley!!!! Love that guy
goal newcastle. f*****g get goal line tech already!
Are u f*****g blind it's never a goal its a world class save though
+3
Hate to admit it but the man u fan is right
it wasnt a goal stop pretending it was
+2
the ball is over the line. He is right
you dont have to admit anything. it wasnt a goal either way.
+1
the score doesn't reflect the game at all.. should have been a win for Manchester, but 0-3...
i think you watched the wrong game...
Looks like there was a slight deflection from the Newcastle player, referring to Cleverley's goal.
Scenario 1) Cleverly meant it. Hits the top corner
Scenario 2) Cleverly didn't mean it. Hits the top corner.

THERE'S NO BLOODY DIFFERENCE TO THE END RESULT. Since when did the player's intent determine whether his goal is "good" or not?
+2
intent shows skill
no intent shows luck
+6
This is probably the most retarded opinion i have ever seen in my life. Intent absolutely determines whether the goal is good or not for example Matt93's comment above.
+2
Scenario 3) He hits it from there into his own goal.

still good?
Jesus Christ Matt is the biggest loser i've ever had the displeasure of coming across. This game's a week old and he's still on about Webb's refereeing and Cleverley's goal! Somebody give this guy a medal, he's definitely an obsessed fiend
+2
Forget about this Matt guy already. He has been condemning man u team , the play, the ref, the goals, the fans, even making fun of supporters name. Something's wrong this past week Matt? Dont worry son, everything's gonna be ok
+1
I'm late here but congrats to United and Cleverley...I believe him cause like he said it may be headed in, it may go in with no further support, so he meant something like that.

I think that was a goal for Newcastle though. But SO close it's extremely difficult to tell. Certainly can't blame the assistant.
all corner kicks english futbol sucks. Last highlight i ever watch. These guys invented the game? I doubt it.
Lol.we even scored from 2 corners.and by looking at ur profile name,I knew you are just an idiot.
+4
oooo riverplate...best team from the best & most popular league in the world...what led u to watch english games highlights @1st place anyway? hard to find highlights of your team? or your english sucks that's y simply clicked into english games link?
+1
It's obviously another Arginetit who still is sore about the Falklandswar :)
united fans are really s**t at picking out trolls lol make it easier for us :)
+1
lol
if you hate english football so much why did you watch the highlights in the 1st place sad troll?
Really? He's trolling it up on an online football forum and you're hitting him with the Falklands?

Some people have to chill out lol.
+2
actually the first "soccer" was played by the mayans. they had to use their feet to get the ball into a basket. so your right, the english didnt invent it
when we have all our first team players fit this diamond formation is going to be great.

rafeal-rio-vidic-evra
--------carrick------
valencia-------young
--------kagawa-------
----rooney-vpersie---
carrick? young?
wow. goodluck you're gonna need it

matt93 speaking so confidently, dont get fooled by chelsea good start to the season, the same thing happened in the 2010/2011 season so dont get your hopes to high lol
Agreed Cjaystacks. Chelsea's tough weeks are yet to come and if they stutter, I'll be ripping you apart Matt93, so I'd keep it shut or you might be looking even more like a Muppet in a few weeks. Karma is a bitch.
I think 4 1 2 2 1 will be better with rp lone striker and roon and kagawa in attacking midfield while Val/ nani and young/Griggs/ nani play wing and support roon or kaga while also drop back. Roon and kaga also can drop back as observed in this game, especially to support Rafael and evra
LoLuMaD - nice name, u might want to look at it more closely ;)
7ReDDeViL7: Ya, that would work too.

That's right Matt93, change the subject. It's ok. The doubt will set in, as you start knowing you might look like an idiot in a couple of weeks.

he went for it, that wasnt a cross!
+5
Such a big fan of some of Newcastle's players, but absolutely loathe the manager. Can't stand his face.
I'm the opposite! I like Pardew to an extent, but dislike most of their players
+1
Although Newcastle had some bad calls against them I don't think it was enough to not justify the score, United were clearly the deserving winners. Nice goal by Cleverly but lets be real here that was a cross meant for Van Persie. And I'm obviously biased on this but how the heck does Welbeck start over Hernandez? lol
Welbeck has been nothing short of woeful for a very long time.
He's guilty of everything that originally took Hernandez down the pecking order: heavy touch, no composure in front of goal, dispossessed easily, can't link up with midfield, bad decision making, etc, etc.
I guess the answer is in that Fergie wants to use Hernandez as a super-sub in the mould of Solskjaaer and to be fair, he's the most effective when he doesn't start.
Fergie wants to play two strikers in front of Rooney and if not Welbeck, he's got Macheda who is even worse.
At this point i think that Joshua King and Angelo Henriquez should be given a nod ahead of Welbeck to start games, until he improves
agree..i never think welbeck is good in anything..slow technique..bad 1st touch..bad judgement..bad possession..worst of all..bad finishing. he could've scored in alot of games last season, but he's welbeck, that's y he didn't. plus his cockiness after scoring..i really don't see this kid gonna improve in future. what fergie sees in him over chicha remains a mystery. really.

sad to read chelsea tops the chase for falcao. *sigh* we should sell welbeck & invest in him. guy's a beast!
Welback has the body and composure to challenge defender over Chica. That's why he is selected for important games. Although, I will agree that he need to improve. He wasted so many chances. And I'm sure SAF think's the same.
exactly dude. from the highlights alone he had 2 open opportunities. those would be goals if they fell on rvp or roo's foot. not only this, last season as well.
We were missing our captain/best defender in Coloccini and our other first string CB in Steven Taylor was watching from the stands along side our #1 keeper Krul.. thats what happens. More points dropped due to the fact that we could not secure any defensive signings during the summer transfer window. Williamson and Perch can bearly cope with Norwich, let alone Man U
dw, you dont need to preach to us. we all know how weak united really are. they are lucky they were vsing a weakened team
We were missing Vidic in defense and we played without wingers until valencia came on, so thats no valid excuse
Matt, you seriously are the biggest hater in the business. Does this page stay open on your computer and all you do is refresh it every 10-15 minutes to talk some more s**t?
@your comment about everyone rooting for City last season - Arsenal fans weren't.
And as for the rest, well, City are a new, exciting and seemingly unstoppable team which attracts a lot of glory hunting idiots, which is exactly the same reason why Chelsea have so many fans now.
And yeah, United are a weakened side, but that's good, all the glory hunters are falling off and jumping on the Chelsea/City bandwagon!
+6
cheshire ur from canada, and ur calling others glory hunters? hahah

you united fans. all i need to say is something like "old trafford is a s**t stadium" and 20 people will comment calling you an idiot without a intelligent post to back their claims. i seriously love you guys
+1
I think u r right my friend. The reason why OT is full of s**t is because of Chelsea fans cry and s**t in OT stadium when we beat u last season. Come on, have some decency and clean it up. We know you guys can do anything at stamford bridge, but have some manners when u go outside. We hope this is an intelligent post coz we sometimes have to lower our iq to Chelsea fans like u as we really love guys too
+1
"lower our IQ to chelsea fans like u"
with all due respect i feel like i lost half my IQ, reading everything you just wrote, good thing it was very high so not really much of a loss.
i honestly do not understand what your point was, what you were trying to say and how thats meant to insult me
So what if i'm from Canada? That's where i live, i was born and raised in Europe you f*****g twat. Are you from England? London? Chelsea?
United is a global club.
I was born into supporting United and will do so through rain and shine.
The definition of a glory hunter is someone who started supporting Chelsea after they won the CL, Barcelona after they started dominating everybody, and City after they became uber rich.
United are in the period of rebuilding, all the glory hunters have long jumped off when Ronaldo left!
But i'll f*****g stay even if we get relegated! So go f**k yourself you narrow minded f**k
+2
Great read Cheshire!

I would hardly call Newcastle weakened when they have Cabaye, Ben Arfa, Ba, Cisse, Tiote, not to mention playing on their own patch. Whatever, lets not take anything away from a good team performance from Man United...lol
f**k off matt have followed united since i began watching football and im colombian but would not consider any team above them. ill follow them with such passion until the day I die. it doesnt matter where youre from stop being such a troll damn you just come here to start retarded discussions that just make you sound immature and severely bored

so what do u think we shud do when fans like you say this kind of s**t to us?
+7
Matt, you think you are clever but in the end you are just one big chode really :)
+8
poor matt, being an idiot as usual
+6
truth hurts dont it? notice how everyone other than united fans were rooting for city on the last day of last season
^ur stupidity hurts=]
+2
matt93 getting owned by United fans, stop making a fool of yourself already! its embarrasing
+3
lmao please tell me how i got "owned"

you united fans are the easiest to have fun with lol. one small comment and you all come out in packs
let me leave you embarrass yourself haha
+2
Welbeck is awful, shouldn't be selected for #Eng
I don't even like how he is selected for United, I think I'm in the minority of United fans who just doesn't think Welbeck should be playing instead of Hernandez.

I know he works a little more in collecting the ball than Hernandez does but I'd much rather have Kagawa and Rooney doing that work with Hernandez scoring them goals that were handed to Welbeck on a plate.
did you just use a hash tag on footytube..
+7
welbeck was awful this game and lol this is not twitter where you use hashtag
