Netherlands are brilliant at attacking, maybe one of the best in the world cup.

But from what ive seen of their defence im not completely convinced.

Agree with you there but if they can put in say 3 goals a match I dont see there defense conceding more than 3 in a match so I say they are in good shape

The thing is that they will not score 3 against good defending teams like Spain, England or Brazil. And Germany has always been the biggest hurdle for the Dutch, no matter how good they may be.

Good defences this year; England, Serbia, Germany. Netherland's most probably path to the final does not cross any of these teams.

Netherlands will beat Spain in the final.

Spain and Brazil are in fact good defending teams this year. Dunga seems to have changed the mentality of the Brazilian side from flashy individualism to good solid team play and with Julio Cesar in goal and height in the center of defense they are pretty solid. Spain has some depth and experience as well in defense with Puyol, Pique, Ramos, Marchena, Albiol, Capdevilla and Arbeloa. Couple that with some awe inspiring ball control and possession throughout the team and they should be fine. They also won the Euro '08 btw.
