I was so happy watching this before Germany game, Denmark get a very interesting good solid goal through legs and go up and its like ok they can draw this and maybe win, well they held off Netherlands the whole game and great, Netherlands finishing was pretty poor and should have being better, especially Van Persie thats for sure, Netherlands in a spot all of us Germany fans wanted. They play us Wednesday and if we win, which I have strong hope we will win or draw, so looks like were going to go through. Portugal will be the challenge for Netherlands, I think that will be a incredible game as well just like Germany Netherlands. Denmark also could make an upset as well if they beat Portugal, this group is awesome and anything can happen, but things with Germany looking the best. Love it!
Incredible result for Denmark. I can genuinely see the Dutch going home now whereas before I saw them reaching the semis at least. They cannot afford to lose to Germany and realistically a point probably isn't enough either and I think Germany will win the match anyway. I would like to see RVP and Huntelaar play together but this is a dangerous strategy against Germany with the strength they have in midfield. This could make Group A a little more interesting too as without being disrespectful to Denmark any of those teams would fancy competing with them if the Danes made it through in 2nd place.

Netherlands fans crying more about that semi-penalty shout than England did when Lampard shot a disallowed goal 2m over the line in the WC knockout game against us, their biggest rivals. GET A GRIP
semi final shout? what are you talking about?

.
Robben has proved himself time and again. Yes, he is selfish, but that's his game. He scores goals though and gets more assists than people realize. To say Muller and Kuyt are better is laughable, ridiculous.

Weird comment to say Kuyt and Muller are better. Robben haters, get out of here!

The irony of bendtner having a better game than RVP

where i van persie did the golden boot got to his head did it
holland have 2 strikers who haved bagged 40goals this season. They should both play, huntelaar is quality. if i was dutch coach i'd tell robben to pass when you need to if not sub him off. he's too selfish, f****d up a lot of chances in WC final and CL final and few games in german football too. im not saying he's s**t just this is football a team game.
van Persie was poor. While playing for the national team he is not the same composed, relaxed player that we see starring at Arsenal. Huntelaar should be starting over him. Robben, if you're gonna selfishly shoot as often as you do, at least hit the target. Kuyt should have been brought on earlier to add some needed energy to the Dutch's play. Sneijder was great!
RVP plays weird, because of the pressure. It's a different kind of pressure than playing for Arsenal. He has proved himself at Arsenal, but is questionable playing for Holland...can be quite stressful ;)

C'mon Robben, I know you deserve more, I has been your fans since you were in Chelsea. Everybody know that you are a good player but recently nobody can't see your fighting spirit.

Rubbish for holland and awesome for Denmark is completely out of proportion. Holland dominated with great combination play, but the finishing was disgrafecul, not doing any justice to brilliant play by Sneijder, de Jong and Affelay (and yes even van Persie). Denmark had one maybe two legit shots at goal compared to more than 8 for the Netherlands.

Not to mention the 2, even 3 100% danish handballs in their box(agger, poulsen and the huge double hands ball at the end).

Netherlands = great, Denmark = lucky

It wasn't a handball!

In Fifa's Laws of the Game 2005, Law 12 says a free-kick or penalty will be awarded if a player "handles the ball deliberately (except for the goalkeeper within his own penalty area)".

The players wasn't handling the ball deliberately!

How do you KNOW the true intentions of the player? We can't get inside the players' heads, to know whether it was just an "accident" or "deliberate." All we can do is judge if a handball happened (yes) and if it affected the play (yes). Common knoowledge has it that when a handball happens with the player's hand away from his body it's a foul. When a handball happens with the player's hand very near or on his body, play continues. In the game the former happened.

I haven't made the rules :)
You could easily see, that they weren't aware of the direction of the ball.
But I agree with you, the rule/law is ridiculous, but that's how it is.
lol typical butthurt fan: "uuuurrr there shouldve been a penalty! derrrp" F**k man the only reason you needed a penalty so badly was because you cant shoot a goal normally. Cry me a river kid. Skeletonberg nutmegged. Enjoy your last two games in the competition :*
The lowlands can't score for s**t..the game between Portugal and Netherlands is going to be a joke..

wow, look at the rubbish vote for Netherlands. while its true that there are more A players among the Dutch but don't you think its a bit degrading for the Dane? they are a great team and defended valiantly on the last game. on the other hand, Netherlands was not that bad. there are chances here and there. yeah, none of them managed to pass the Denmark's solid rock defense, but they're not rubbish.
but still, it'll be interesting to see whether they can truly 'wake up' facing Germany

It's kinda ironic that Robben was being an selfish twat all game, always shooting from tight angle and never passing, but when he really should have attempted the shot himself he tried to pass and Oranje failed to score..... lol

Robben didn't play bad at all, it's all to blame on RVP who f****d up like 3 major chances, Huntelaar needs to start against Germany because I can just feel that there is going to be another major chance for RVP but then he will fail miserabley again.
I knew Denmark were a quality team, after their solid performance at the 2010 WC. They really played well yesterday, which lead to the defeat of a huge opponent. The difference among the 2 teams was, that Denmark worked together as one machine and Holland had individual parts trying to run the whole team. Holland is a great team and it seems a lot of people are ripping on them and their class players such as Robben, RVP, etc. This was one of the only games they lost in 20 matches, they were in the last WC finals and scored 37 goals in the qualifying. Holland will be ok, if they come together and work the ball as one and work off/on the ball for each other. Funny how some people will rip of class players when they perform poorly, but praise them when they perform like they're supposed to. The fact is, Robben and company are great players, that will never change. Hopefully this loss is an eye-opener to the Dutch. Respect to Denmark, good luck to both teams...

Good comment. People are fickle, and will change their deepest opinions from one game to the game. Like goldfish they have no memory and like sheep they follow the obvious and easy path.
