what a curve for donovans goal!
Fulham should get this guy.
I agree about Landon...would love to see him in EPL...he is ready and could be a star with a second tier team. I really hope LA takes the title... I like Becks and I like Landon and I would like to see them both come out of this year winners and then move back to Europe.

I am not so sure about US footy in SA though. A championship team does not get rattled...and The US team still does. They will probably do better than ever before...but not as well as some think they will. The problem is the level of talent is just not that great. You need a bench and real tough 90 minute players to compete for the WC...and right now the US is too thin and too inconsistent.
I am not so sure Donovan is close to as good as people seem to believe, most of his goals for the U.S. squad have come against the weaker teams of CONCACAF and he was unable to make an impact after two spells in the Bundesliga which is a notch down from the EPL. There are several more strikers for the U.S. with much more potential then a guy who crumbles against every physical defence he comes up against. Not saying he is a terrible player but the U.S. would do better with players like Altidore, Cooper, and Ching up front.
Actually I think Donovan would do great in the EPL! Some teams you don't play well against and you need team chemistry which could have been the problem. He is a great player with the top scorer for the club and MLS last year and maybe this year too. Play great against Egypt, Spain, and Brazil. I would like to see him int the EPL too and in the MLS.
nice volley shot good to see celebrating his goal with Beckham
Reidscott's right... LA are playing great, have great chemistry, and think they're great. They're gonna be a formidable force come playoffs. And what a great strike by Donovan. He's really coming to, playing the best footy of his career at the moment, and hopefully it'll carry into 2010 SA. With the performances he's been having, he should once and for all switch to the EPL. He could be a star on one of the mid-table teams, such as Fulham (who have a history full of Americans) and/or maybe a team like Portsmouth?!!
Watch out for LA...playing like they want to win it all. Becks has that attitude he gets when he is focused..and Landon is playing the best footy or his career right now. If they play solid defense the rest of the way...they can score enough to beat anyone out there...and win the championship. And when that happens...let's see what folks say about " The Beckham Experiment "....

It all could happen!
Reidscott you're right...s**t it would be great for the league if the Galaxy won it all. Donovan and Becks leave this year as champions and generate revenue and buzz for the coming season. I call it "The David Landon Catalyst"
what a strike from Donovan.
